On the upside it sounds like the putting off of the job thing has thrown a great opportunity in your lap. Even if it does not pan out ot be a long term gig it coudl be just whatyou need to 'fill the gap' until finding a long term position that you like.
I spent a considerable amount of time alone, being creative, listening to music, reading, thinking... (which was needed). Sunday, I went to a BBQ hosted by some really old-skool friends. One in particular I've known since I was two. It was nice, they were all so crazy, but we have so little in common.
I just finished the Secret Diary of Laura Palmer and I must say it (and the whole Twin Peaks deal-eo) is rather fascinating to me. I can't help feeling very close to Laura...
