OK,so I would like to put a post of substance here but the apostrophe thing pisses me off so now you all have to suffer for SGs inability to make their site publish basic text.

Or maybe you are saved (notice the lack of a contraction, fuckers), all depends on how you look at it.

I didn't break anything... but I was working on a Grand Marquis that, after I pulled it into the shop wouldn't start due to a blown fuse that, according to the shop manual, is for the cigar lighter and nothing else. After getting that taken care of and getting a fresh key cut by guessing the key-code based off the old worn-out key, I parked it and the customer picked it up. He came back less than 10 minutes later complaining that the "brake" light in the dash was on, and there was a burning smell. Turns out one of his brake-lines rusted through sometime between when I pulled it off the hoist and when he returned to the shop, so I got to build brake lines for the thing, from the master cylinder to the junction-block near the rear wheels puke Add in one that another tech cut & programmed some keys for (chipped anti-theft keys) that started twice in the shop, wouldn't start at all when the customer came to pick it up, and then started right up after they left. And an F150 that was towed in because the owner lost the key... in 4wd, doors locked, wheels turned, park brake engaged (fun watching the tow-truck driver get that one off the flatbed)

And cold has arrived in Chicago.

Well not really, we still have a ways to go before we get to the true Chicago bone chilling cold, you know the kind that freezes your nostrils shut?

Happy work week to me, I am sick as a dog today... it could be from the fact I weakened my system buy not really sleeping and playing Fallout3 all...

I agree that Ron Paul probably wouldn't have won the election, but, like you said, it would have a been close race and I think some important issues would have been raised instead of the mudslinging that dominated McCain's campaign.

Srsly, McCain was such a piss-poor choice of a candidate.
tallboy66:
Well I didn't really like it there to be truthful, what do I know about diesel engine parts?

As long as I get UI I can look for another job, or wait 'till spring and go back to landscaping/interiorscaping hopefully.

Change is not always good.

Boss has had yet another stroke and I am about at the end of my rope as far as this stuff goes.

If the guy puts himself in the hospital because he refuse to delegate or plan his time I am just not going to stick around to watch him kill himself.

No sale, deal or payment is worth killing...

I think I am bored again, it happens from time to time and is a dangerous thing because it causes me to loose drive and motivation in all things important.

How to get it back I have no idea.

Help me!

Try to keep busy and distracted.
It helps, for a little while.
xhippykid:
I end up driving an hour away to SouthBeach and partying all night. I guess I'm bored. I haven't found any friends within a 30 mile radius yet.

I'm alive.

And addicted to GTA-4 although I do not like it as much as San Andreas, I liked the thug life better on the west coast yo.

Thanks!

You know what: I've never played *any* of the GTA games...
signalnoise:
They actually *do* look hella fun. I just never got around to them - my game playing is both random and intermittent.

Ya know I was going to ask why I hadn't heard from you in a while but the journal answered my question.

Am I the only one the site is mad wonky for tonight?

Special bonus for the day: touch pad left button on the lap-top is no loner springy and making me angry.

I also hate hotels designed like mazes.

northsider:
Site seems OK. Next time you get lost in the hotel, just curl up and sleep in the hall, wherever that may be. Soon enough someone will be along to help.
hysanadu:
Nope. I was having trouble with it over the weekend, but that's par for the course.

I like northsider's idea. smile

An interesting tidbit for those of you who know my job drama...

My 'replacement' after months of fucking the world up, pissing off people and otherwise sucking has gotten sick and tired of working for a crazy woman and given up and moved on. He did so with no notice and is pissed at the woman, to the point he told me that he disconnected...
