I actually had a productive weekend, despite the best attempts of those villainous SGUK people to get me all drunk and uncreative... oh no actually that was all a lie.

Great nights were had Fri and Sat, and I'm quite impressed by myself in being able to squeeze in finishing the second book of my 'Psytopia' trilogy, 'Memento Mori'. (Its a goth cyberpunk swords...

I haven't updated this for about 18 years.
And I'm not going to now either; I'm going to switch off my laptop and do something more creative instead!

There used to be a programme on the television (a childrens' programme) called "Why don't you?" and the theme song included the line, "Why don't you turn off the TV and do something less boring instead?" which was accompanied by a cartoon of someone watching the TV and then kicking it, I mean kicking their boot through the front of it!!! biggrin

Nokturn would be the only ride i'd want to go on in the U.K.

Seriously, he is a total sweetheart. kind, intelligent, wicked funny, and a great person. i still want to know where the slot is for change, so i can ride him, though.

''A down-to-earth, all round nice guy who has a refreshing outlook on life and always has something thoughtful to say.''

An aboslutely amazing man who has amazing taste in people, movies, and life in general....

From ikaruga

my first friend on SG, and a man with nigh-on impeccable taste in films and games.

what more could you ask?

Well, what a lovely week I picked to start working at Gatwick.
Crisis management training, just for me!
Although it isn't really much of a disruption and its amazing how a couple of free chocolates and a sip of Pimms calms the Americans down.

I'm starting to get into it, but do feel what I feared- that it 'isn't me' in all...

I am rarely "right". However, this time I am listening to my own advice and therefore must be right :-)
The weekend is gonna be good.

PS, Snakes in Outer Space..is a slightly more amusing working title.

kiss kiss kiss I always get so happy when I see posts from you (even if I am feeling slightly better than dirt) - It's too funny you mention D'Hoffryn - my job and quote are both Anya blush I'm a bit better today - but just laying low and processing everything....Not in a "please stop hitting me with my own rib bone way" but just in a reflective way....Trying to apprecitae good and start figuring the lesson out...Sounds too deep - but on the plus side - I'm eating alot of ice cream! Hope you are well kiss love
