I found another dead crow on my way to the store the other day. I was like a kid on xmas morning! It was so fresh it was still quite warm. I really wish I had some taxidermy skills because it was in such beautiful condition.

I'm not sure yet what I have planned for it though and since it's much warmer weather I shouldn't...

NINAAAAAAAAAAAAA, I'm trying to find your duct tape corset but I can't find it, do you know where I can find the topic (or pictures) (or both)? Thank you! How are you doing, really?

Thank you for all the lovely comments.

I shared that experience not for sympathy or to hear how much I would be missed but really as just an insight to how strange life can be.

I'm looking forward to some well planned trips the rest of this year.

Life is good even when it's bad. Sometimes you just have to be reminded of that.

yep - the old blue box will never be the same! ... am lost back in the Tom Baker years -- the final three episodes just came out on DVD...

for one of the better books I know on grace, you might want to look at Volume 12 of The Notebooks of Paul Brunton-- the last chapter. very non-denominational, and rather accurate, imo.

don't think Ginsberg was a pedophile in the legal sense of the term ... he was an odd bird, for sure - some of his early stuff was astonishing, then it got muddled and lame and diluted by his savoring publicity, and then he came out the other side with some things of substance. as I said, Patti Smith has a cd of music using a lot of lyrics lifted from his poems. if you can get hold of an early - very early - reading of HOWL, it's worth listening to... let me know what you think! surreal

Yes. Not sure when would be a good time. Might be able to meet up after work one day next week. Otherwise, the last week or so of the month or August might be better. How is it going with finding a new place to live?

I had an amazing epiphany today. I had myself convinced that suicide was the answer I was looking for. It all made perfect sense. I had never felt so sure of something in my life.

This wasn't the first time I've had suicidal thoughts. I have a few scars to prove it. But I always manged to live through them. I always said it was...

I need to move into a new place like...asap...

mostly it's my own fault but shit happens and no one's really to blame.

I've no idea where I will be going though.

Oh not out of Portland just the place I'm renting.

I have no idea what the rental market is like now. I'd expect there might be more houses available for rent, since many aren't selling. I hope you find something quickly. Good luck!

Try here!

good luck finding a new place, hope you find someplace worth sticking in smile

I wish life would give me lemons....I could really use some lemonade or better yet some limoncello.

I've decided it's pointless for me to make any plans to do anything. No matter how much I want to do something, it almost always gets fucked in the end.

Currently I have tentative plans to do many things this year. All of which I'm nearly certain will...

I don't know if you're following me or not. I think I remember seeing your name there but that site confuses me and makes me feel old.

Indeed, we are moving to Stumptown. We almost moved there in '06. We only came here because of extended family. I'm just trying to wrap up this year's orders and sell the business (seems crazy to sell it so quickly but we aren't asking a lot for it and the transfer shouldn't be too complicated), then we're out of here. Actually, we're leaving whether the business has sold or not.

I figure I can always come back to wrap a few things up if I have to. I'm really looking forward to getting settled over there. We've got all the good school districts mapped out- it's looking like SE- Eastmoreland, Sellwood, Woodstock, somewhere in there. smile

(Re-posted because for some reason the first post is messed up and it won't let me edit it?)

Hooray for Friday!

I've a nice cold pint of hard cider in my hand and a huge pot of pasta sauce simmering away on the stove.

Can life get any better?

Of course it can. Here's not one but two self portraits for you. I feel so...

Could be a better pic of your boob, but that's an excellent pic of your face. Both of them, actually. (I had to go to your pics to see the boob one - I'm getting a red x in your journal.)

I don't have any 'clothes' that I wear significantly more than others, unless you count a long olive green, thinly wool lined, Eddie Bauer "mountain parka" (hooded jacket) that I wear almost daily to and from work or when running errands 6 months out of the year.

No plans for the weekend, but plenty of things I should be doing. What are your plans, aside from eating pasta? tongue

I think the full moon is having a weird effect on me. I've been unusually cranky to the point of snapping at people all day. I'm agitated and want to tear things apart.

Of course it could also be that I've not been sleeping well....yet again. Nothing new there. I've dealt with that issue all my life.

This month my life is going to change...

That is an awesome video. Jim was one sexy man.

It's taken a lot of effort to make life that simple and it's a never ending battle. The world always encroaches. Still it's worth the battle. I'm become quite fond of this simple life.
