well of course everyone has something that sparks a "memory"...my point was that there are particulars that can bring you back - square one - to a feeling - to a moment - to a minute in time - that has long since passed - not the memory so much as the actual you in that place in time that is no longer...it is usually only a sliver of a second...but it is like the feeling of a ghostly presence...
as far as memories go...your past is what you and those involved make it...if your memory is only as intact as the perception you spin upon it than you never truly lived the experience to its full capacity when it was happening...eh?
