It's nearly Halloween!! What's everyone going to be? 
So, it just another ordinary Tuesday come and gone like so many before them...doesn't it sometimes feel as if life is moving at the cyclic rate?! Oh well...bring on the weekend!!

It's been a while, but I finally have some news to report. I finally got a job offer and accepted. I don't start till the middle of June, with training, but I got what I asked for in an hourly wage and I also get health benefits. Not too shabby. I've been in kind of a funk lately. Well, it's a very early Friday morning and I just came back from the new Star Trek flick. I have to admit that it was actually pretty darn good. I was expecting some cheesy rip off of the classic series, but this was a complete re-imagining of the franchise. Hopefully future movies are held to the same standard.

My favorite job before becoming a nurse was video store clerk/manager. It was awesome 5 free movies a week, I watched so many movies while I was working there. If it got to the end of the week and I hadnt got any movies yet I would get all 5 and stay up watching them, I couldnt pass up free movies. Plus then you could get all the movies you wouldnt normally think to get.
Oh and i have plenty of pics that i look bad in. I think im one of those people where i either look pretty good or pretty bad lol.....my sis is the cute one, not me lol.

Anyways, there's a good possibility that I might be laid off today at 3:00 pm MDT. Hopefully I'm just jumping the gun right now, but it doesn't look or feel that way. Anyways, I'll update as soon as I learn more.

Geez. I hope that doesn't happen. I myself am only middle managment but I gotta tell ya I don't trust corporate America in the least. Are you in corporate high on the ladder or just sowhere in between, middle, lower managment, or just an employee. I think it's going to depend on your position and how the big guys feel about if your position is worth the company money to keep. I'm assuming you're high in the company as they always for for the higher paid positions first.
Good luck and keep us all updated. This is scary as it an happen to any of at any given time.
Like I said corporate America sucks that is why many of my friends have to decided to become bartenders. One of them has a PHD in psychology!

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, it wasn't just me. Over 100 people in my call center lost their jobs today. Sad situation for everyone involved. At least the company was kind enough to give us some pretty decent separation benefits! Oh well...back to the grindstone for me.
