I've been itching for more ink of late, thinking of something floral (but not too girly) to go up my leg...
Anyone have any suggestions or pics they could share?

I tried looking in a bunch of tatt mags and on tattoo sites (most of which ask me for money!)
but I still have come up with little to nothing!

Here is a couple I...

the florence broadhurst-like design sounds cool. Try the signature prints website for some of her designs, otherwise theres that other wallpaper designer, um, Is it william morris or something?
I'd try Inner Vision Tattoo on crown St, they are recommended by lots of people and have more of an artistic reputation. I have a consultation with Megan coming up for a pin up girl on my ribs. ouch.
mrpapageorgio:
Nice one! Cheers mate!

Update just now from bigdayout.com:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

"Sydney Tickets Ballot

Final 10,000 Sydney Big Day Out ticket sales information.

With 45,000 tickets for the Sydney Big Day Out snapped up in a few hours we have held back the final 10,000 for sale over the next ten weeks in ballot form.

The first 5,000 will be sold at $125 + bf and the final 5,000 will be at $150 +bf.

Here's how it will work.

Each week 1000 tickets for the 2007 Sydney BDO will be made available on our website via an online randomly drawn ballot.

The ballot will be drawn at 9pm EST Thursday each week, beginning Thursday 26th October and finishing Thursday 28th December.

The weekly ballot ticket limit is 2 tickets per person.

As the Big Day Out overall has a strict limit of 4 tickets per person, if you have previously bought Big Day Out tickets and if upon entering into the ballot you surpass the 4 ticket limit, no tickets will be allocated to you. This will be strictly adhered to.

Registering for the ballot

Registrations will open at 9am EST Friday 20th October.

You will need to complete and submit the ballot registration page on this website.

Your registration will only need to be completed once and will last for the duration of the balloting weeks.

If you are successful in the ballot

An email will be sent to you within 30 minutes of the ballot draw. This will provide details of how to complete the order, ie, pay for your tickets.

You will be given 5 days to pay for your ticket order (until 9pm EST Tuesday following the ballot). If in this time you have not paid for your order, these tickets will be forfeited and put back into the next week's ballot.

Tickets for other cities are still available so why not consider Auckland or Adelaide BDO instead of paying a scalper for their holiday.

Selling tickets for higher than the face value is a breach of the conditions of sale. Tickets sold on auction sites will be declared invalid and the ticket holder will be refused entry. You have been warned.
Good luck."

argh i know. its awful ive resorted to evil ebay for my overpriced BDO goodness.

I'm reading this book, it says that I am God. It says that we are all Gods,
and our minds are controlling everything we do and everything that happens around us...

The more I read, the freakier it all becomes!

I've read a lot of Wicker / Dark Arts / hocus pocus stuff in my time, but this one takes the cake!!!

The first few...

Too much coffee? Too much time? What sort of things can you control with your thoughts?

That definately wouldn't have been me in the city. I work in the lovely leafy North Shore, aka party central.

What did you decide to do about the job offer?
mrpapageorgio:
Your gonna think I'm going bananas...
But I assure you little miss sceptic that the things that are happening around me are really freakishly coincidental!

Like you know when you think of someone and then a few days later you bump into them on the street, yeah well like that, but with thought out, almost premeditated situations and scenarios.

And it's making me question whether these are just really odd coincidences or am I conjuring them up in my head, manifesting my thoughts and allowing that particular event to happen.

I know, I know... crazy right?
YEAH, CRAZY LIKE A FOX!!!

I can't sleep, it's really hot tonight!
Tomorrow is gonna be a scorcher! 32 apparently!

biggrin

Decisions, decisions....
Girls, I needs some advice.

I've been freelancing at my work for over 2yrs now on my own hourly rate but with no pay rise.
I love my work, I love what I do... But....

There is a job going at a rival magazine, that they have head hunted me for which is offering more money but it's a weekly mag, so that...

I think stay with Ralph;
- Ralph has been around longer, zoo is new and still trying to find its market. So it could go under and you would be with out a job
- The articles in Ralph have more to them.
- Form my point of view I find Zoo trashier.
chanty:
Hmm, tough call. I say go to your bosses at Ralph and try to call their bluff. Say give me a pay rise or I'm leaving, if you're in demand then you have a bit of negotiating ability. It sounds like you want to stay but want more money. If they say no you can stay knowing you tried your best to better your situation or tell them to get fucked and leave.
But I know its easier said than done...

Wow..!!
That was one of the biggest and best weekends EVER!
I'm so in love with Melbourne, it fuckin ROCKS!
The weather was crap, but the people made the city.

I ended up having to ditch my mates at the strip joint late friday night,
to trek down to a club called Pony... And was it worth it?
YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS IT WAS!...

Hey, how are you goin? Thanks for adding me.

Yeah I had my first joyous experience with Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, I had been down once before for the F1 Grand Prix but didn't get a chance to go out much that trip.
I made all the usual jokes about the weather but as it turned out it was pissing down in Sydney but sunny when I was down there. I need to go back and explore some more.

Off to sunny old Melbourne town for the first time tomorrow...
I'm really excited, I don't reckon I'll be able to sleep tonight.
I cant wait! This is gonna be sick.
