yeah. In 2003 I was in an accident in Ohio when I was a medical courier. It was sprinkling I had turned out of the hospital and gone the not even 1/4 of a mile to the stop light for the turning lane when I slid. The brakes caught just as a I got to the car waiting at the red light but I still tapped the car in front of me. We survey the damage. There ain't none. The guy said everyone in his car is alright and I was fine so we didn't have to call the cops. As I was about to say, I have to its a company vehicle, the wife chimes loudly, NO let's call the cops. Next thing I know her and her friend have on neck braces and are being put on backboards covering their faces in the rain going OH OH OH. I got cited but it was thrown out in court as the estimated time of speed on the report was less than 5 mph.
After that I heard nothing for 2 fucking years. I got a notice in the mail that I was being sued for 25,000 by the wife (for loss of life enjoyment and never ending mental and psychical pain) and 25,000 by the husband (for loss of consortium) and my old boss was being sued for 25,000 cuz it was his car, and they were suing their own insurance company for 25,000 for not paying out. Thankfully, my old boss, whom my dad still works for, got a good lawyer and had him take on my part as well at no cost to me. I really need to send him a thank you card.
After that I heard nothing for 2 fucking years.
