FUCK WEEDS.
So i have this patio out back. nice size about 20x30 brick paver patio. Nice place to sit, I have some yard around it, loaded with dog toys of course, some comfortable furniture on it, A little fire pit, all around a nice cozy place to hang, day or night. there is one thing about it that drives me crazy. The amount of weeds that comes through the bricks. We have tried everything. sprays, pulling them, weed whacker. you name it, everything has it's draw backs and short of 10 hours on your hands and knees nothing has rid me of these dam weeds. Until now that is.
450,000 BTU of flame throwing weed annihilation.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...It's a bit over kill. I know. it was designed for clearing fields of brush. My tiny little patio pales in comparison to the intended use for this. But it sure was fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In about 1 minute i had the entire area weed free. except of course where it boarders the house.
The thing sounded like a jet engine, the weeds withered turned to ash and blew away instantaneously.
that was 2 weeks ago and I have not seen another one since. Even if they do regrow. I have a solution.

Wow, you're a mind reader. One aspect of the work plan is weekly status reports on tasks. We're meeting weekly too (in addition to the weekly lab meeting) to go over this. I completely agree that refusal to sign the work plan is grounds for termination, but I'm still waiting for HR to get back to me . . . My contact person in HR had to meet with someone (maybe legal?) Monday afternoon and hasn't gotten back to me. And I have my hands tied b/c I don't want to say anything to him that could jeopardize anything, so I haven't said a word about the work plan or lack of signature other than I'm waiting to hear back from HR. And in the meantime, things have gotten WORSE on some issues (which I have duly reported to HR!). Blech. I have no idea why he got such a good reference from his previous employer, unless he was trying to get rid of him! Thanks for the words of support!
