I'm starting to feel like a gypsy. I could probably count on one hand the number of times in the last five weeks that I've slept at home in my nice, comfy bed. It's great to be working, but I really need to move up to Portland. I hate the notion of commuting an hour and a half to do any work and never getting...

Went to Dante's the other night in an attempt to recover Ruby and my garbled and hapless attempt to rendezvous. It was live comedy night, and I love good live comedy, but it has to be GOOD! I've seen worse in my time, but there was almost no one there at all, and I felt a bit embarrassed for the people up there trying to...

Sounds like I missed out on some good company at Dante's last night. Oh well. I'll be there next week for sure. I think one of my good friends and co-conspirator/film-maker joined the site today. I'll have to check out his profile and see what he has to say about himself.

Things've been swell today. Talked to the girl in Japan for the first time...

Well, I suck. I missed Ray Charles on Thursday. Ended up drinking a couple pitchers of Hazelnut Brown at the Rogue alehouse. Damn good beer. Never had it before, but I'm a convert.

Had a couple more lightweight days on the movie shoot, and cried myself to sleep at night knowing that I had missed not only an opportunity to see Ray Charles, but more...

Hopefully I'll be able to get back online properlike tomorrow and find out what the hell has been going on around here for the last few weeks. The movie shoot has been a blast, but ain't quite over yet. Anyone wanna go see Ray Charles at the zoo on Thursday night? I'm hoping I can get off work in time to do so... more maana!

Well, I'm outta here for some 2-odd weeks. Wish me luck because this film shoot could be a complete disaster. Or it could be an incredibly good time working with a lot of great people. I'm hoping for the latter. Ultimately though, I don't care as long as I get paid.

Hope everyone has a lovely couple of weeks. I'll certainly miss you all! Post...

Well, just got a job on a low budget shoot taking place over the next month. Pay ain't much, but right now I'm not feeling picky. I'm just glad to have finally landed some work.

Out of boredom and amusement I made a profile on hotornot.com with the same pic I used here, and claiming to be a government agent and ninja. I've actually gotten...

Dude I fucking love hotornot! I had almost forgotten about that shit, it's soo funny! I always sabotage the chicks that are obviously trying too hard to be hot by giving them a low score and am sometimes to generous to the fatties, but that's ok, right?

Awake, arise, or be forever fallen.

Thanks for the support, yo. Love is the shit.

Spent a wonderful afternoon wandering in the warm summer rain and writing on the veranda (so to speak).

Hows that for poetic? Apologies to Milton...

ahhh, scorpios. there's alot of us on this site, eh? must be because we rule sex! (or something)
zona:
i have seen Koyaanisqatsi, which is what i was thinking of when i said that microcosmos was done by the same person. but microcosmos is awesome so when you get a chance, you should check it out.

i was being modest when i said that scorpios rule sex. WE RULE EVERYTHING!

I'm sorry sweetie, just remember that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Or just tell me to shut up
jessica:
That is sad! I thought of doing that once. Well, on the bright side, when she moves back she'll be able to say "me love you long time", only in Japenese! Now if that's not cool, what is?

I have not the veracity to write an interesting journal entry, I just felt like I needed some kinda quick update.

Life is good. Had an epic and swanky cocktail housewarming party last night. A great time was had by all. I have several bruises I can't explain yet, but hopefully it will all return in time.

Three times this week I've used words as...

I don't quite understand how I can seem so busy and at the same time, have virtually no responsibilities. It's a pretty decent arrangement, I tend to think. Gotta find a job though. Some sort of income to keep the tax collectors away. No worries. I'll figure out something soon enough.

Finally got my motorhome The Sunrader insured, so now if I back into someone...

I click around a lot and spend a lot of time at home, but contrary to popular belief, I'm really VERY busy, seriously. I just am a bit of a social butterfly in real life too... when I'm not hiding.

Stayed local for the weekend to do the whole Da Vinci days shebang and have had a pretty good time. Listened to a lot of mediocre music and danced, listened to a little good music and danced. Lied on the ground and debated the potential differences between the words "facetious", "fatuous", and "sardonic". Fascinating I know.

A pleasant, simple, sunny day. I need those every...

My bad on the Norville Barnes. I actually haven't seen the "Hud" I a couple of years. That quote has just stuck with me.
