I still wanna do one of those personal ad things, but I just haven't had time to sit down and bang it out, so to speak.

The film shoot today was mayhem. I probably shouldn't go off about it, because who knows, maybe my boss is a member of the site and reading my journal entries. Doubt it. Truth be told I'm too beat to...

It was cool to hang with you! Minus having try and talk to you guys while babysitting my drunken cohort.... sheeesh!!! I thought it was MY night to have fun!
zanarki:
oops... delete the "I" from the "I asked any remaining SG members" part. Where's a comment delete button when you need one.

Hehe... yeah Siren your partner in crime was in rare form that night. I'm sure anything porcelain was feeling quite nervous that night ;-)

Im a bundle of strange energy today. My last day at the job Ive had for five long straight weeks. Starting a new job on Monday that is going to utterly consume my life for five even longer straight weeks. Trepidation and uncertainty dance around behind the curtains in my mind. What am I going to do afterwards? Where am I going to live? How...

What's your new film?! Fun, fun.
I had to write you because I loved your story of being an airhead like me. I feel better now!
I probably won't be going to Dante's tonight frown because I have too much reading homework to do. Procrastinator! But if I do stop by, I'll make sure to have a drink w/ cha!
bailey:
can you believe it, my dear? things are looking up.

i am trying my hardest to be mysterious and elusive. sorry to leave you missing me.

we still on for a cuddle date?

Well, I missed out on the whole personal ad thing. Maybe I'll take the time to try to write one up later this week or weekend. A few of the ads I read were quite well thought out and engaging, which is good to see. Thought-provoking personal ads! How novel!

Went out and watched Veronica and Luxe and Voltaire dance at a seedy little strip...

It's been a good weekend. Lots of down time, which I've been lusting after for weeks. I didn't get to check out the Greek Festival on Saturday like I wanted because I was uninspired to brave the weather, and Sunday was all about doing nothing.

Saw Moonlight Mile, and watched Zona get yet another head wound in my presence. The movie was okay. It was...

It's been a good, busy week thus far up here in PDX. (Yes Jessica, I'm moved up here now!) Though I'm eagerly anticipating this weekend and a little time to do my own thing. It has been weeks since I've had a day off without having some big plans, or work, or a lot of obnoxious driving to do. I enjoy few things more than...

Baggage is very cold. I will need all the warming I can get for my little trip in your extra large duffle bag. Or do I get the royal treatment and I am going in an extra large trunk lined with silk and padded with velvet pillows...oh we need room for oxygen too i think...or I will sleep soundly all the way there.
jessica:
Did you go to 1st Thurs.? That sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately, I always have to work on 1st Thursdays...and 2nd and 3rd and 4th Thursdays too, ha ha.
Go to the Greek Festival! It's on tonight and Sunday still smile

The drive up to Portland yesterday evening was remarkable. The cloudscape and sunset were vivid and delicate and breathtaking. The kind of vision that would inspire me to poetry if I were any sort of poet. Like watching a lover fall asleep. Like hope.

Goodbye Corvallis. Goodbye past. Hello future. Perhaps we can be friends...

Om mani padme hum.

Thou Art God.

Last night was pretty damn interesting. A good time, for sure. I felt obliged to take off around midnight which was a drag, but I didn't want my magical motorhome to turn back into a turnip before I returned to my sister's house. I also couldn't get TOO drunk, because I had to work early in the mornin'. They just started playing dance music right...

Well! The Pirate Weekend was a success. A couple days of long hard work, but it was not nearly as painful as I was afraid it was going to be. Since I was Assistant Director, it was up to me to maintain a semblance of order to the madness and although that is pretty draining, it's nice to be able to make things happen when...

Back in PDX. Gotta lot going on this week, which is cool. Slowly getting used to being busy again, but not quite there yet. I think it doesn't help to be without any real personal space. That doesn't particularly bother me at the moment, it just prevents me from using my free time in creative ways I might normally like to use it; writing, drawing,...

Good Christ! I wanna eat pie off half-naked Mia the Pirate! Sounds like bliss! I haven't had time to write a new journal entry to rid the shame and embarassment of Zona's billiards supremacy and ridicule of me. It was a bad night. I was playing terrible pool. I couldn't see out of one eye. I had a kidney stone. My mother had just been diagnosed with flesh eating virus.

Fuck. Next time. Maybe I'll challenge her to box or do pull-ups or something...

Off to go make pirate magic! Wheeeeeeee!!!!
zona:
oh, you dont want to challenge me to box or do pull-ups, cuz then you'll REALLY be humiliated. ha!

Had a long talk with the girl in Japan this morning. It was really nice. What a ponderous situation. Constantly learning from it and improving myself though, and that can't be a bad thing. I'm hoping that with all the work I've been getting I'll be able to head to Nippon for a couple of weeks sometime this winter to visit and travel. It's been...

Oof... It's been a long but good week of work up here in Portland. Looks like I'll be back all next week, and I've finally given notice at my pad in Corvallis. Come the end of the month, I'm outta there. I'll miss it. I grew up in Corvallis and much as it may be obnoxious and small at times, I'll miss it.

Enough nostalgia....

What can I say? Dante's last night was an eye-opening disappointment. I was so excited to go see the Suicide Girls live and in person... These lovely and wonderful girls we all know from the website.

At least, we THINK we know.

I arrived, and there they were right across the room. Trying to be a nice guy, I went up and bought Missy a...
