Had two relatives pass away recently, but I didn't find out about it until today. My cousin John, who I probably haven't seen since I was about 12 years old, had a heart attack. His mother, Pearl, and her sister visited the funeral home to make arrangements - as they were leaving, her sister pulled out in front of someone. The car was T-boned, and...

Went with Dave to see a sneak preview of "W" last night in Scottsdale. I enjoyed it, he didn't. I thought they did a fairly even-handed portrayal of the man, although the film could certainly have benefited from better editing - parts of it dragged horribly, and if not for the superb performance turned in by Josh Brolin, I would've lost interest several times along...

12 days since my last entry. Shit. So much for staying on top of the updates, yeah?

Although I was incredibly sore and ill-tempered for the first few days, getting back into the swing of things at the gym has been a welcome change. It feels good to be doing something besides sitting around on the couch, and according to my weekly weigh-in, I had...

I'm back from vacation, and it seems like getting away for a few days was exactly what I needed. I feel a lot more relaxed and refreshed, and as we head into the 4th quarter (the busiest time of the year for us folks in the game industry), I'm finding it easier to keep my focus on the tasks ahead.

Spending time with the family...

Wednesday night found me driving to a bar in Glendale (or Avondale... not really sure which) and hanging out with Kristal, who was having a relationship-related crisis. She was pretty upset when I got there, but after a few drinks, a few tears, and a few hours of playing pool and pumping copious amounts of money into the jukebox, she seemed to be feeling better....

I'm not exactly the world's biggest "Star Wars" nerd - more like a casual fan. I enjoyed the original trilogy, thought the new trilogy was passable, and have a tremendous love for the "Knights of the Old Republic" video games (and I still believe that if Lucas had hired THOSE cats to write the new movies, they would've been exponentially better). I've never read any...

I am a star wars fan and I can go on about how I don't really like the new trilogy but the fact is I love the KOTOR games. I can say I loved it more then episodes 1 - 3 ha ha. I haven't the console for the force unleashed but the fucking previews look stellar to no end.

When do you come back?
drusylla:
Verizon is probably pretty much hating me for convincing me to get unlimited txting lol They could have made so much money off me this past week alone tongue

I'm glad my drunken txting was amusing you wink

To celebrate Dejah's birthday last night, a bunch of us SGAZ folks gathered at Sushi 101 for dinner. With the obvious exception of Dejah, it was my first time meeting any of them, so it was nice to be able to put faces to the names of the folks I've been corresponding with over the past few months.

After dinner, we rounded everyone...

Like I said in the last entry - normal life resumes. Working my usual schedule, then coming home and falling asleep on the couch in front of the TV. Fielding too many phonecalls from my employees regarding stuff that shouldn't require a phonecall. Going out on Thursdays to Mill for drinks with Kate and company, and then to Clicks to play pool with Dave and...

Sleepy. Brief update.

The Vegas trip was excellent - I'm very excited about the direction our company is heading. More growth and expansion means more opportunity for promotion and advancement. I'm into it.

It was good to hang out with Sleeve for a couple of days. We wandered around the Strip every night, and I watched him lose money at the poker table to Jonah...

Alright. Quick update, because I have a bunch of shit to get done.

Tuesday night, Dave and I watched a Bob Saget stand-up comedy special from HBO. It was probably one of the funniest and most offensive things I've ever seen. From jokes about banging Kimmy Gibler (as well as all of his daughter's friends) to ridiculing a fan in the audience for having sex...

Having Mia in town was a blast. It feels like forever since we were able to really spend any time together and have fun like we used to, and we did our best to make up for all the time we lost. We ate shitty food, watched TV, hung out with Dave and Kate, went to the zoo, played pool, and insulted each other in...

Extrememly difficult but not impossible! I'm sure if you were to raise one as a baby, you'd be fine. I've always wanted to have a black-on-black leopard (aka: black panther).
