Crazy weekend! I haven't quite got the brain space to write about it at the moment but so far I've done some work for the final week of tafe, I've seen the Dresden Dolls and their excellent touring burlesque friends, I've decided that I want to set up a monthly burlesque kind of night during the two weeks I have off since I've been meaning...

KITTENS!! You have KITTENS!! How exciting biggrin

I'm so happy for you guys!

Oh, and Toby didn't mean to confuse you. But we can see how the story would've been confusing. The other day he saw who we believe to be Bella's person outside the door patting Bella. This is also how we know Bella's name to be Bella. Since the blinds were down though, all he could see was her red shoes and pants. Kinda like the lady from Tom & Jerry, only she didn't have a broom.

See?

re kitten settling: I'm sure you know all this but...

  • keep 'em indoors for at least 2 weeks

  • spend as much time with them as you can

  • Keep the house as quiet as possible

  • Give them somewhere dark and safe to sleep

  • make sure they know where food and litter tray is at all times

  • Talk to them a lot so they get used to you being their new person

My 2c. Oh, and have fun with them!!

I reckon MTB or Pizza Shapes are better than sex. BMX is just so 80s...

So anyways I have been doing lots of stuff biggrin
shifter:
Ahh yes but it was very good shameless plugging. PLus I made lists and I know you like lists.

Chem Eng would be at Curtin, or as suggested by my mate in the US, UC Berkeley. Which would be a huge commitment, however it's a random thing to consider.

And yeah, the cott.. I think I was too drunk to notice that night, so I only wasted a couple of hours on her later really.

Today I bring you maths and kittens in boxes.

Enjoy.

What I would've given for a calculator with a 'stun' setting back in my school days...

Also, I was surprised to see that Nottingham had moved from Nottinghamshire to Cornwall. Dad and bruv would be amused, no end.

P.S. I have seen '8' and was severely traumatised for years. '9' was considered too advanced (and therefore dangerous) for most humans even in the 28th century (when I taught Maths).

P.P.S. Or something.

miao!!

I suppose it about time I moved on from the excellence that is goblin-king Bowie.

Lately I find myself turning into a grown up. Its an uneasy transition, to say the least, and I'm fighting it every step of the way but it seems to be happening anyway. My days are filled with Tafe or homework or domestic things like cleaning and food shopping, I...

You're going to a Shosty recital and you didn't tell me? I'm gutted. blackeyed If I'd known that was on, I'd be going to that, too. frown Ah well, as I'm probably going to one in October, I'll give this one a miss and brave the Hula Bula bar wiv the others wink

You must fight the grown-up disease! Look at me! I've done it! I'm still dumb and irresponsible! Or maybe I'm just disorganised? Anyway, what exactly is "grown-up"? I mean, if you want to live in comfort, as most of us do, you need to do a few things wether you're young or old. Having a credit card doesn't mean you're grown up nor does grocery shopping. Getting drunk or stoned doesn't mean yer immature either. It's all relative, anyway! Sorry, I'll stop waffling.

Oh, I've been a terrible SG friend. Sorry all.

I've been slack, its true, but if it helps its not you, its the internet in general. I still love boobs but the lovely Miss Kat bought me a shiny, little DS Lite so I've been consumed with trying to make Mario do what I want him to do. It's more difficult than you'd think. There...

I'm thinking Opera is more long than sophisticated. The pinnacle of pop-culture offers it's own reward.

I used to sing my niece to sleep with Tegan & Sara.

This week I saw Karen O in the (very close) flesh.

This week I sang along to Death Cab with a boy called Lewis.

This week I've been feeling topsy turvy and not quite right.

This week I had a session with a personal trainer called Francesca.

This week the skeleton for the house went up.

This week I got bored of being on holidays....

So apparently I have no brain tumor or plaque build up in my arteries, which is great but also leaves me with nothing to blame the left-ear pulse on, which is annoying. I don't have much else to tell you all really so I shall leave you with pictures of my brain and, when you think about it, that's almost more personal than pictures of...

You know on TV medical dramas when the person with the suspected brain tumor is fed into the big white tube to have a CAT scan? How about when the pregnant woman has that clear gel squished on her swollen belly so that she can see her unborn child on the ultrasound screen? Well I had the non-pregnant, non-brain tumor versions of both those scenes...
