This blog comes with a trigger warning!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a very long time since my last blog. I haven't had much to say to be honest, life hasn't been treating me well but I don't like yelling on the Internet. Yesterday changed that. Around 10am the first 911 calls started coming in about a shooting in Ottawa the capital city of Canada home to...

This is a very difficult question for me. As I review movies (as a gifted amateur) and I hope to one day actually get paid for it, picking favourites is kind of what I do but to. To pick just one would be impossible though.

So I got to thinking let's do it by genre, then I realized that when I get to science fiction...

I have never claimed to be wise or someone that anyone should come to for advice, and the advice I'm imparting doesn't even originate from me, it was one of the last things my father ever told me.

You can't control other peoples reactions. You can only control how you react to them. So be mindful of your reactions. Use reason when it feels that...

Really great advice!  I'm working on being a less emotional person.

So New Years Eve wasn't a total loss, I'll spare you the overall details but I didn't end up with the girl, we are going to remain friends, and I've gained a regular client. She is very serious about getting back into shape and I look forward to motivating her. The image below is her and we've already started a workout plan. I'll wait for...

It's amazing isn't it how one thing, an event, or person, hell both can really change your perspective on things. If you're a guy, especially a woman.

Now this particular woman isn't really new to my life. I've known her for years, this is however the first time that we've been single at the same time. It's strange, I've always though of her as a...

Wow it's been a while hasn't it. Nothing since Remembrance Day. It was a pretty heavy blog too.

This is little better. My attempt at getting a steady personal training job was unsuccessful, so I picked up a seasonal retail job to help pay the bills. Good old Best Buy, hurray!!! Not that I dislike it, I used to sell consumer electronics for Radio Shack...

Wow, it has been a while. Glad you scored a job, even though it's not what you were looking for. But hey, shiny things are calling. ;)

Well I promised in my last blog that I'd have a podcast that I participated in my next blog. I expected it a lot sooner than this, I also expected it to be slightly better quality. I should rephrase that. Slightly more professional sounding. Some of it couldn't be helped. One of the panelists Lee I'm not sure was the best fit but it wasn't...

Ok so the new format is pretty but will take a long time to get used to. I find it difficult to find hopeful only sets in Member Review as the "Hopeful" filter shows full SG's whose sets are in Member Review too, which I don't like as there are days where I just want to see the hopefuls rather than SG's. Also I have...

Apparently, the number of comments is the way it is because they count only actual comment as comments, while clicking just 'I loved it' without writing anything counts as a 'like' and goes in the number next to a heart, in the top right corner of a set. When you put those two numbers together, you should get the old site's number of comments. Or at least that's how Vassilis explained it, so if it's wrong, you can blame her. ;) But yeah, still very confusing and still needs fixing. I'm not sure how I feel about the follower thing either, though there seems to be more interaction than ever. It might be because the site is new and everyone's online.

It's still fun as hell, and worth of getting if you need something to keep your mind off real life. I have never played Borderlands, but heard only good stuff about it.

Well work will no longer be a challenge. Despite my passion for fitness and desire to help everyone else get the kinds of results I've achieved I wasn't capable of selling it and as such got let go. I'm not upset about it, I saw it coming. It is a results oriented business and I wasn't getting the numbers I needed to be successful. I...

Yay, don't forget to post pictures of Booker cosplay! I was also thinking of cosplaying Rosalind Lutece, since I have red hair and I find her character quite fascinating. We'll see smile

Oh no, I'm so sorry about your job. Maybe it was meant to be and you needed to be pushed towards personal training. That's what my dad does, and he loves it. I hope everything works out.

Um, I better not tell you how much I do not do. Pilates once a week, though I've been skipping classes lately because of all the stress and stuff I have to do. confused

Another long absence since my last blog. Work has been too busy/stressful to divide my attention too much but I have a couple of reviews for you and another one that will come this weekend or I'll die trying lol.
Hoping that I will have a better September as it is typically a better month for gym membership sales than summer but we will see....
