Already halfway through vacation week here in Ocean City, MD. It's been mostly good so far. Waking up to sunrises like this morning is pretty great.

It's pouring down rain today at the beach. Not just a little rain, but sideways gusty wind type of rain. We had delicious pastries from a local bakery that were called "Ugly". Basically a big ball of dough with warm apples and cinnamon wrapped in, deep fried, and coated in icing. Amazing!
Enjoying a little vacation time in the OBX with the family. First time here, and it's quite nice. This picture is of the sunset last night, and I'm hoping we'll see more like it throughout the week. Tonight will be time for some surf fishing and a fire on the beach, followed by wine in the hot tub!
I want my tree to be this big! The tree looks great this year, but it's getting much bigger as it settles. I'm worried it's going to take over the living room by morning.
Work and life have a funny way of making you lose sight of what's important, or what makes us happy. I've gotten so wrapped up in the doldrums of life recently, and I felt like I lost touch with me. Something needed to change.
