The Long Winters - The Commander Thinks Aloud (#8)

Gagarin says, in ecstasy,
he could have
gone on forever

he floated
at and sang
and when he emerged from that

one hundred eight minutes off
the surface of
the earth he was smiling.

Then he returned
to take his place
among the rest of us

There's nothing like getting a new pair of glasses.
Your able to change others perception of your personality by the frames you have.
It doesn't matter if you don't say much if / when your filmed, as long as your honest.
Just have fun, you can only be you in the end anyway, why be different? biggrin
productiondiva:
It was lovely to see you again! Thanks for coming out for Dyke march with all of us! smile

Funny how things work out. Not always "funny ha-ha", I guess, but funny none the less.

Well I was going to say "whatever the fuck we want" but that Tim Gunn thing works too.

Yeah I can do NY in the fall. I know tracy will have a study/spare room at her place by sept if you want to wait till then.
deaconkole:
Hey, I know you, too!

Too bad I don't know how to add you as a friend. Dammit.

...and now, I'm going to check out all your favorites.

Juno was a little overly hip, but still charming and enjoyable.
No Country For Old Men was fantastic. So intense.

I just finished playing Rock Band for two hours.

I am very glad I've gotten to see my friends with weekend. I promise next time I'll stay a bit longer.

I'll bet.

No Country was not a good choice for a date movie. Excellent movie, just not for wooing chicks.

yesterday during a big communal thanksgiving, i found myself arguing with an effeminate mexican over whether or not D'Onofrio is, in fact, totally the fucking man.

you should be able to guess which side i was on.

If it wasn't for my tattoo artist I'd never read comics anymore.

Whatever he has lying around. A lot of Elephantmen. He's a big fan and I'm pretty into it as well. Great art. Last I was there I read the Loki series, which was beautifully painted. He buys a lot of the trade paperbacks when a series completes itself and stashes them in the shop. Great way to spend an hour.

Oh, I've read Marvel Zombies about 2 or 3 times as well. I love that book. Hear they're starting up a new series on that too.

oh shit!!

i was gonna be her for halloween about 8 years ago.
i already had the glasses and the orange turtleneck and i went out and bought some flats that i could fit into and a wig. i made myself a skirt. but when i put it all together, i felt like i just looked like some ugly cross-dresser with a bad haircut.

i ended up going as a zit that year instead.

i still have the wig and the flats for some reason.
