Good to see you trying to talk some sense, dear. But I seriously wouldn't even bother. When someone has a superiourity complex like that, they'll never, ever admit that something they've said could even be the tiniest sliver of wrong.

And they'll also be genuinely -confused- that not everyone thinks the same way that they do.

It's depressing. I hate elitists with every ounce of my being.

Well, I talked to R, and we agreed that we won't have any further contact for a while unless she talks to her therapist and they both feel like it's acceptably healthy for her to call me.

it's so ironic u posted this cause that is exactly what i'm going through right now with a guy in my life. it's intense and emotional and complicated and hurts soooo much, and it's best for all parties involved if i just don't talk to him anymore.
it eases me to know, tho, that i'm not the only person alive who has to go thru a situation like this. someone else feels this hurt too.

What is it with me making friends on this site and then having them disappear?

Anyway, off to Frostburg tomorrow. The current ratio of opinions on "Am I on a date with J or not?" stands at 4-2 in favor of "WTF? Expensive French restaurant? Yeah, that's a date."
