I have found the hurricane solution that nobody thinks of: buy a shitload of SlimFast. It's cheap, it fills you up, it stays good for months and months, and it even tasetes OK warm.

MRE's. They taste like shit but are cheap enough at Military Surplus Stores. Just ask people for the canned food they never eat, The one noone opens and has spiderwebs and dust on it. Its probably something really strange too.
