Definitely follow this advice. I remember the first party I ever went to, freshman year of college. I didn't drink at the time and ended up having to drive a friend's car to get his friend home. Ever since then, I've always made sure that my friends have a DD if they're out, and I always make sure to let my friends know to call me if they need someone.
