Hey Lucky, If you don't have a written contract it constitutes as a verbal contract which can be very debatable and full of hersay. You know, basically your word against his.. .you've probably seen judge judy.. she likes things in writing. Anyhow my best advice is going to the book store and buying the "Graphic Artist Guild Hand Book of Pricing and Ethical Guidelines". This has most of the legal issues spelled out. Bone up on your rights and get your artwork back from this asshole.
