So, despite being constantly sick, injured, sick again & more injuries than I can name..... I'm making the best of this summer.

I broke my arm in a not so epic way ( fell down doing laundry), cluing up the LAST of my radiation( :D), getting a severe case of strep throat, getting hit by a car that slipped out of gear, & lastly gashed...

So between getting sick, typical Newfoundland weather, and life, I've neglected the gym. I found a pic from lastyear I took of my back, and just to see if my eating habits have done anything, I took one from today. Seeing the progress without exercise has me excited to see what will change when I get back on track.

I have a LONG ways to

Ahhhh the first long weekend of the summer has come and gone. A good one indeed. This is my "but do I gotta go back to work?!" face.

I was quite productive. I tiled my bathroom vanity backsplash. Quite proud. I "worked" Saturday. And by work I frolicked about for the day, spent approximately 10 mins total outdoors and got a burn/tan.

Saturday night consisted

Spring is finally almost here! Woke up this morning with 1/4" of ice on the car, but come 10am it was beautiful.

My iron levels are still extremely low causing me to bruise super easy.

The one on my hip is from leaning on the railing while hanging clothes on the clothesline and the one on my leg was worm kneeling on the ground while

@kirbie are you on the 5spd or 6spd?? Not saying it was a bad choice still will be fun, just saying there's guys/ gals i know running 30r's during AutoX and kicking ass lol. Personally the only cone dodging racing ive done is RallyX & Ice RallyX
kirbie:
@subietom 6spd. Currently there's basically only FRS's and a few civics racing. No other AWD cars, so I have a bit of an advantage in the smaller course setup

Not a whole lot has been happening in the life of Kirbs. I started binge watching Dexter. 2 episodes left of the last season, & everyone's a murderer in real life with me. To the point that I won't meet someone in their own home first, without meeting them in public, out of fear. Foolish I know.

This east coast weather is really pissing me...

I can't truly understand from a woman's perspective, but you're right, there is a major difference between choosing not to do something and having that choice forced on you. My ex and i had a miscarriage. It was pretty terrible. I hope you don't let it get you down too much.
kirbie:
@littlejohn22 @rubblerocks: I'm a human pin cushion. More tests lol. @wentle85, it's a tough realization at 26 years old, but I can foster/adopt if I need to fill the void. I'm still young, time to live in the moment than dwell. :)

So I've been basically MIA from here. Long story short, I'm doing ok.

Between hospital visits, anxiety, & life, it was in everyone's best interest I stayed away.

Missed everyone lots!

Love ye guys

So, aside from checking when I've been mentioned in things, I've been MIA from the site. Long story short, The Big "C" is as stubborn as its host. It has mentally beat me soo far, I don't know how I'm actually able to function in society. Physically it's been an asshole too. Thanks to some makeup & bandanas I manage to blend in with society....

Today I woke up nauseated & fatigued. I stayed in my pjs all day. I swear I'm an adult ;)

I was productive though! I knit. Life lesson according to grandma. I'm easily distracted, due to shitty attention span.

Treatment has totally kicked my ass, & the thought of chemo again tomorrow has resulted in many shed "I don't wanna" tears. That's when I said,

Well that's another VDay in the books that I'm glad is over. Don't get me wrong, I'm so very happy for everyone that had a great day. Valentines has always been shitty, for various reasons. The past 4, I've been "alone". The joys of having a partner that travels for work. This year was the first in 4 that we were in he same country...
