Covering both ends of the fight or flight syndrome; I like it.
They want you to drop off tickets? you're about to fight! maybe they'd like you to do a jump rope exhibition on their porch while you're there... some people *shakes fist*

The flight may cost more but what about everthing else? Paying $1.50 to every Euro adds up quick, let alone those $2.05 GBP.

INDIE/CULT MOVIES THAT SUCK EVEN THOUGH PEOPLE EVERYWHERE STILL LOVE THEM.
warning-this post might upset you.

1) rocky horror picture show- this movie has nothing to it. i think people just like it because of the whole event when you go...

nina_kova:
"The object of this Essay is to assert one very simple principle, as entitled to govern absolutely the dealings of society with the individual in the way of compulsion and control, whether the means used be physical force in the form of legal penalties, or the moral coercion of public opinion. That principle is, that the sole end for which mankind are warranted, individually or collectively in interfering with the liberty of action of any of their number, is self-protection. That the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not a sufficient warrant. He cannot rightfully be compelled to do or forbear because it will be better for him to do so, because it will make him happier, because, in the opinions of others, to do so would be wise, or even right. These are good reasons for remonstrating with him, or reasoning with him, or persuading him, or entreating him, but not for compelling him, or visiting him with any evil, in case he do otherwise. To justify that, the conduct from which it is desired to deter him must be calculated to produce evil to someone else. The only part of the conduct of any one, for which he is amenable to society, is that which concerns others. In the part which merely concerns himself, his independence is, of right, absolute. Over himself, over his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign."

I read your posts and you made me remember this...did i mention that i adore that you are smart? and i'll compromise, the slippers and jammy pants at home, but I won't wear them to walmart around you... kiss

black hawk down....at foxwoods

So a funny thing happened at work. We were offered overtime to come in this past saturday, but i refused because i was delivering firewood. Apparently, i picked the right day to deliver firewood because the state police, the fire marshalls, mashentucket police, EMTs, etc were all on the job because of a report that "a plane had gone down in...

i hate living at home. it better be worth it when i have enough money to put a down payment on a house.
allied:
Hey, I've seen these guys on a show on A&E. Don't know anything about them or the company, but they might be worth checking out if you're planning to stay in CT, and you're interested in buying a house. I've thought about contacting them (hopefully next year) if my financial situation improves to the point that I could buy a small house AND keep my condo and rent it out. Of course, a whole of chips would have to fall into place. Fingers crossed. Anyway, good luck, bro. wink

My gf wants to get into flipping houses. I'd like to, too, but I just don't have the capital. Plus, where you could do the work yourself, I'd have to hire e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e. But, I picked up a decent book on the subject by Kirsten Kemp called "Flipping Confidential." You can find it at any bookstore.
