I cherish the things you said. You've always been a comfort to me, as have a number of other friends here. As hard as things have been for me, I don't want to think about how much worse off I'd be without you and others. SG has been a lifeline for me, from the time I became acclimated to it until now. Especially now.

I have reached out to certain agencies and resources. I'm receiving some help, and you're right, it was a difficult thing to do. I received a pm from someone who suggested some things that I could explore regarding housing. I need to stop hanging on to the notion that I won't have to compromise my living standards in these troubled times. I've been used to living in one of the nicest areas in my borough, and am reluctant to accept the prospect of living in a less desirable area. I have to try to accept the fact of my life that I will have to settle for less.

I'm so glad that you had a premonition about retreiving your computer and visiting me. It means alot.

I'm a couple of days late but I'm back. I missed you.

I wanted to call you last night, but didn't know when the best time would normally be for you. You were kind enough to invite me to talk to you about my feelings about the breakup with Mae-Ann. I was about to dial your number maybe a half dozen times.

I was thinking about Ryan. I'm concerned as to how he's doing. I'm hoping that you're continuing to get better.

It sounds like you had a traumatic experience that's still affecting you. I hope things are truly better. I care about you very much.

Sounds like a perfect weekend. I'm glad to hear Ryan is closer to home and that his partner is so wonderful. That means a lot! I do hope they find out something soon to help the kid out.
Oddly enough, where I grew up in Kentucky is like the Lupus capital of the states. I had at least four friends from high school diagnosed with it back when we were all teenagers. My closest friend at the time, Karen, has it. She's running marathons all over the world these days, though, in spite of docs saying it's not great for her joints. She was a runner before she was diagnosed, gave it up for years, has felt good for many years now, so she decided, "fuck it." and went back to running.
Anyway--wow, did I get side tracked! I'm glad Flashmo is home and things are settling back in at the dogpound. You take care and thanks for updating all of us.

Glad you had a great day with the honey.

Dinner was nice. She ended up working late so I brought over takeout. Saturday we had lunch and ran errands. Much interesting discourse about raising the minimum wage and possible unintended consequences. She gave me homework though, I have to read up on the "3W Program" (Wisconsin Will Work) from back when Tommy Thompson was governor.

I hope you're feeling better today. You've been so supportive during my seemingly endless period of depression and anxiety.

I posted what amounted to a totally positive blog for a change earlier this evening. What a good feeling that was. Everyone has been so concerned. You and my other friends and loved ones deserve this change as much as I do, because you've all helped make it happen.

Maybe its the change of having your hubby there.. maybe you got used to being home alone?? dont know hun... if you need to talk, I am here for you.. ALWAYS! I actually miss our conversations!!!

I actually am on my way to the infectious diseases doc right now. He told me it was going to be 2-3 more weeks LAST week... but I swear I healed more this week than I have in a MONTH! I am being positive for him telling me one more week.. or even TODAY is the big day!!
I am gonna snap some pics of my toe for my foot doc since he cant see me.. I am gonna email them! I will post.. its unbelievable!!!.

Life has been... weird... lately. New information. Difficult to process. Impossible to talk about. But not exactly bad. Just new and different. Working on acceptance and surrender. It's an interesting time in my life. In the end, I think I will be a better person for it. Or I will go insane. Hahaha...


I don't know what has happened with our beautiful friend, but I am saddened to see the yucky anon avatar. *sigh*
