1. camping a couple weeks ago was really cool. mushrooms were disappointing on the visual end, and ok on the howifeel end. hm.

synth guide online?? hmmm Mark Vale's the dude to look for -- anything he's written. He's got some excellent gear guides as well as some theory and operational stuff. I hate to say it, but brushing up on the sound theory will make learning and using synthesis a helluva lot more intuitive... anyway, here ya go. biggrin

i dont know if i can continue my streak of amazingly fun and eventful weekends, as this one will be spent cleaning and moving. i will miss the sureality of being stoned and drunk off my ass in some unfamiliar part of the (state//country//continent).

get it set up, i think it'll be well worth the money. My bass is a Squier, and it effin' rocks. But not like a Rick or a standard P.

oh mannn. Crates just plain suck -- with the exception of the small class A combo amp.. it's a 5 watt, I think. That thing really rocks. But most mass-produced american amps (Fender NOT included) tend to be poopy. Fender basses.. the older the better, honestly. I just love the sound of an early 60's P. Big, round and warm. With mine, I usually roll off all the highs and pick with felt. Gets a really nice McCartney "THWEEUM" though my little Polytone combo.

i'm playing like... 4 different zelda games at the same time. i got the classic nes zelda 1 for GBA, a link to the past on snes (although, i'm thinking i'd rather have that portable), ocarnia of time, orcarnia of time GC bonus disc master quest version (hard!!) and wind waker.

Oh man, you'd never guess that a game about farming would be so great! Sometimes, t can get kind of repetative, some days are - water crops, feed chickens, pet the dog, ride the horse, sleep, repeat. But it's so addictive, you are always trying to get to that next town festival or whatever. It's honestly a lot of fun. And it's pretty open ended so you can do whatever and however you want. I have been hooked on these games since the PS1 version came out. The GBA version is very similar to that one.
