I've finally officially graduated from university! I had the ceremony this past week, it thankfully took place when the weather was still relatively mild. I don't think I'd have survived an hour and a half wearing my gown and hood if it was as hot then as the 40 ish degree weather we're getting now. Here's a picture of me looking like an absolute goon,...

I'm apparently very bad at maintaining a blog, I haven't made a post in over a month. Most of my time in the last thirty or so days has been spent working, I'm back working with my parents' swimming pool company for the summer since I didn't get any of the jobs that I applied for with my shiny new university degree. It's alright though,...

I am officially done classes for my undergrad! It's so exciting! And I've passed all of them already, even without having written the exams yet, so I've essentially got my Bachelor of Science now smile

Bring it on world.

Our mildest winter ever has ended, and we've jumped right into summer. It was 23 C here today on campus, and one of my lecture halls was 26 C since none of the brilliant minds that run things around here had the forethought to turn off the heating system. In response, I've shaved my beard, and broken out my shorts. Pasty legs all over campus!...

Another week done, and another week closer to being finished university. Five weeks to go! This was a doldrum week filled with writing papers about tropical forests and midterms about plant genetics. On the plus side, I wrapped up my assignments by lunch time today, so I could spend the rest of the day watching movies with my roommate. We watched Slap Shot, a hockey...

Back at school, how unfortunate, reading week always flies by. Only six more weeks until I'm officially a graduate though!

In other news, anyone who ever played any of the Zelda games will appreciate this. It's a Zelda rap I found on youtube and I'm pretty sure it's one of the best things ever.

Cheers all!

Hey SG world, I'm home from university for a week, and I was lucky enough to get to go on yet another adventure this weekend. I went in to Buffalo for the night to see a Montreal Canadians/Buffalo Sabres game! I know it probably doesn't sound all that adventurous, as most people on this site probably live in the US, but I haven't been to...

Last night I went to see City and Colour in Toronto with one of my best friends, and fellow SG member GrizzlyXxX. Needless to say, Dallas Green put on a pretty fantastic show. This was my fourth time seeing him perform as City and Colour, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who likes a blend of folk and indie-rock with really well-written...
