Happy 3d SG anniversary to me! very hard to believe it's been that long.

Well I got me a future husband out of the deal and.......a couple of friends.

And........in the way past lots of enjoyable sets.


it's changed a lot, i am not on here much, but.............i can't cut the cord.

you should know that in your time here you have really helped a lot of people, including me.

you might not always know it, but sometimes you touch people in ways you might never understand or even know about - but the two of you have helped me realise that there are ugly things in this world that might seem unconquerable at the worst of times, but they can be overcome.

and the fact that you guys have so much love for each other gives me so much hope.

i know............i know.........it's like i am in a dysfunctional marriage. how many times have i said i was going to leave?

well, this time i got all my essentials packed......everything totally squared away. called my one sister and left a message saying we were leaving.

and well, they have been granted a reprieve.

Alheimer's is so difficult, for both the afflicted and the caregiver. As you know, I'm sure, there's no telling what memory the person will cling to from day to day as their present reality. I can't speak with any medical authority by any means, but my grandfather appreciated being spoken with gently and reassuringly, especially at those times when he was startled by what should have been familiar (his house, his wife, his kids...).

Caring for sick and aging family is tough, on so many levels. We've never met/spoken here but my thoughts are with you as well. Don't give up. If you can hold on for now, you won't regret enduring this terrible strain you've been put under for so long.

It will get better, even if circumstances don't allow you to see that at this moment.

Like you, I have PTSD from childhood abuse and with that and ADHD (attention deficit), I have found it hard to try to have a normal life and have any kind of confidence. It has affected everything and everybody in my life. It is getting better but I still have many demons that I need to get rid of.
