Thanks for the comment. I know i'm not the only one going through rough (or maybe "confusing" would be a better word) times. Life just seems to have that "when it rains it pours" thing going on lately. I like your list, I think all of those things sound like a lot of fun. Speaking from experience weed, tattoos, and threesomes are all good ideas. So good luck with your endeavors! If you only complete half the things on that list you are in for some extremely fun times.

I've found that revealing my innermost thoughts and feeling in my blogs here have done me a world of emotional good. SG has been an invaluable tool for me that I'm grateful to have been turned onto. Next February will be 3 years since I first joined.

Howdy Champ. Sounds like you care, probably as much as you should, about people you are trying to help. Right/wrong or should have/shouldn't have don't really fit the scenario. I know there are lots and lots of rules and guidelines for behavior of staff at shelters, etc., but the simple truth is that if it were not for people who care and take on that job then there would be no shelter and no one to help.

I was associated with a small battered women's defense group now many years ago and would aometimes be asked by the staff to go and escort a woman and her kids (usually) who was affraid to leave the home and go to the safe house by herself. It was rare that I actually had any feelings beyond my commitment to help out but on two occassions (sp?) I became interested in the outcome and both times the outcome was less than stellar. It hurt, but for me a realization developed that much as I truly wanted to be able to save these people it was not up to me to make the choices that would provide the possibility of a desireable outcome. In short, even when I thought (or felt) it was about me it wasn't about me. Does that make any sense?

I hope posting this helps. It helps me to write when I'm pissed off or feeling badly. As a writer, it must be even more so for you.

I find it therapeudic and cathartic to write things down when I'm troubled. I hope you can get to the point of writing things down soon.

Cubs and O's?

One is screwed because they play in the AL East and the other has a front office full of weirdos. Damn.

Wit ha Sox win yesterday, all is right with the baseball world again. The O's were actually up 2-1 against the hottest pitcher in baseball. They're playing well under Showalter so far.

Those Twins refuse to go away. It's going to be exciting for Sox fans right to the end. The key in my opinion is going to be Edwin Jackson. If he can consistently have quality starts, they'll be okay. It would be a shame if either the Sox or the Twins don't make the playoffs.

In case anyone is wondering, Breonna is thi 5-year old girl I've completely fallen in love with. I would adopt her at the first chance I had, if I could; I would make sure she went to a great school, was always happy, and never wanted for food, attention, or affection.

Kids can have a unique affect on people and cause them to feel things they never felt before and never thought they were capable of feeling. This must be a very special little girl to bring these emotions of yours to the surface.

You have very good reason to be concerned about her future under the circumstances. All you can do is be the best person to her that you can be while she's there and keep your fingers crossed about her future after she leaves. I know that doesn't satisfy you, but that's the way life is.

The Sox look like the real deal even without Peavey. I couldn't believe how bad they were playing until last month. At least it's a 162 game season, so they had plenty of time to turn things around. I predict a classic series coming up in the playoffs between the Sox and Yankees.

Hitting bottom last year was due to so many things hitting me at the same time. Besides still feeling the loss of Annette, I was broke, didn't think I had anyone I could rely on and was suffering from a serious case of loneliness.

Interleague play has something to do with the Sox success. Still, this is the kind of pitching that I thought they had from the beginning. You knew there was something wrong when their most reliable pitcher was Freddy Garcia.

Sorry about the Cubs. I don't think it can get any uglier than last night. I know how you must feel. Just two weeks ago, I thought the Sox season was over and was grateful that the Blackhawks made it a little easier to cope. Now, it looks like the Sox are here to stay.

Who knows? The Bulls may get Lebron, which would probably start another dynasty.
