i like that they are trying this whole musical purity process... i don't know a part of me will always miss vv as alison from discount though... i loved everything discount did so i was kinda disapointed at the few songs i heard by the kills... i was sorta hoping for the lyrical genius that i came to expect from her. i geuss what i liked most about her lyrics was her ability to conjure up a mental image of the narrative. she was telling little stories i could relate to...those stories i miss.

i remember Discounts last London gig at this lil pub in KIngs X-first i;d heard of em..very good..think Jamie was there that night..respect to mr hince tho - his first two(?) bands - Scarfo and Fiji (?) i liked a lotsmile
