All is well... Coming home early, but leaving 2 days later for 3 weeks, so it'll sort of be like I was never home at all (except, I won't get credit for completing a deployment, LOL). Yep. My superiors really have their shit together and aren't afraid to take care of their guys. That was sarcasm, but the truth of the matter is, I really don't mind and am (kind of) looking forward to the change of scenery. They probably know me well enough to have realized I'd appreciate it - and would have prolly volunteered for it anyway, so whatever, but no one said shit to me until after the fact - and I had already made other plans, but oh well. They're called "orders" not "invitations", right? Hands up, Chin down, This is a fight - you signed up for it...

Man, my next trip is gonna be a doozey - is that the way "doozey" is spelled? Doozie, Doosie, Doozee, I dunno, fuck it. Anwyay... I should be gone for 3 months or more. I hope there isn't much activity and we just train. Going out and eating fish heads, rice, and twice-fried grissle log while being feasted upon by insects that you can only dream of, being from N. Am. isn't all it's cracked up to be. lol. You know you're bored when you catch yourself hoping your forward position is overrun or your vehicle gets ambushed.
Well, going to fight club this morning, so I am up early and need to get going. It's my little reprieve from being reduced to the paper-pusher/permission-asker/money-begger that I've become. I swear if they were dependable, which they are not, and had some simple people skills, which they usually don't, the average tech could do 90% of my job. The other 10% would have them curled up in the fetal position, thumb-in-mouth, begging for mommy, but damn. I'm used to a little higher speed operation and making the transition from door-kicker to plot-&- schemer has been difficult, though occasionally rewarding. I think transitioning back will be more difficult, especially under the scrutiny of a bunch of fired up 20-something's who expect me to be some sort of deity at everything. So, I go and fight people twice my size 2-4 times/week, juuuust to keep myself in check. It's really rather well sorted, from a psychoanalytical perspective. I feel as though my job has castrated me, therefore; I subject myself to countless bumps, bruises, scratches, accidental fingers in the eye, black eyes, bloodied mouth, gi burns, matt burns, sprains, strains, and general sore-ness. For this is surely the measure of a man.

could only (possibly) help their cause with the
absolute lowest common denominator of human beings
that live off our welfare like parasites and worship
NASCAR drivers...

In conclusion, screen your shit that you decide to
forward; you sound like a moron.

This issue is soooo fucking big and this viewpoint
is soooo narrowminded. You'd be much better off not
championing their cause. If you really believe that
you can equate unfair and biased immigration laws
directed at law-abiding, tax-paying immigrants (some
of which are "illegals" - though they have federally
recognized ID and pay taxes) to someone "breaking in"
to your personal, private property, then we need to
have a serious debate, cuz you're gonna have to
convince me, Brother. There is no comparison, and the
speaker's argument is adolescent and naive, at best.
More likely, it is absurd and deserves no other
recognition than scorn or ridicule. A fucking 4-year
old special needs student could have written and
defended a better postulate...

I've attempted one before for the Filthy, Smutty Story Time Group....but alas did not finish it. They are really great stories when they are in my head but then putting them on paper, or in this case the computer, it takes wwwaaaayyyy longer and I end up with a short novel. I have one "story" up in the group now but I think this one will be better. I hope it will anyway.

I'm a history and secondary education major. I want to teach high school history and government. I was looking into politics but now it just doesn't seem right for me haha.

yeah, so I was thinking about that trip we've been planning for 4 years, and I think we should shoot for, either, the next couple months (not the best for me, but...) or after reunion, in the summer. hopefully, i wil have financially recovered from Christmas by then. i think we could rally Radek, by then, and a trip over there without him, would just be second-rate, at this point. what do you think?
