I've been off active duty for a couple of weeks now (and it has felt like a lifetime of recovery and freedom), but before leaving I signed a reserve contract to continue serving in the reserves... you know, the whole "citizen soldier" thing. Anyway, I thought it would be sweet as hell to continue jumping out of airplanes once a month with copious amounts of...

Yeah... I was hoping they would like it at SG HQ. It's pretty heavily themed but... Hey, It's a good theme. I'm hoping maybe they will pull it up around Halloween since they do some stuff like that then.

Steve Jobs is resigning because "technology has gone as far as it can."

Has it, Mr. Jobs? I still don't have a reverse microwave that can instantly make my beer ice cold, do I? Once I have one of those next to my iMac, iPad, iPod, and Macbook I will then believe that we have reached some kind of technological pinnacle.

Until then, you're just...

Awwww you are too kind! That pic was actually a fast hour comp....not too bad! I thought it was kinda kewl so I posted it... confused

And I can completely understand what you are talking about, about telling certain peep in control the truth of the matter..... You know a lot of us are crazy but can function fine if you don't pressure us or subject us to too much ignorance!!!!

My cycles normally revolve around my stress levels, at least it seems so....

But n e way did you find any good vectors from the sites I linked you to?
chameleonbiscuit:
And you! smile I only got half-way through the resume in the end. :/ Try again tomorrow!

Officially had to give up my Virginia license today and become a resident of Georgia. The sweet little southern belle at the DMV (or DDS or whatever it's called here) smiled at me and said "welcome to Georgia" and I just about lost my mind. Southern girls rock my socks off. I'm going to like it here.

Also I've learned that in college towns like...

I had to road trip back to NoVA this past weekend to take care of some bidness, but also to leave my beautiful German Shepherd with family since he has been having issues trying to assert his dominance over my sister's Australian Shepherd. He had come damn close to killing that poor dog, even though my GSD is the biggest baby I've ever had. Sometimes...

There is comfort in the inconstant, attraction to the promise of change and an undeniable draw to that which I know is fleeting and foolish. It will be a wild ride, you and I, but I'm only ever invited if the ride is temporary, and accept when I know the ride ends in collision. In the intermission, between our first kiss and devastation, along the...

I had a beautiful, model-hot woman call my busted ass "gorgeous" today. That is akin to striking gold or winning the social-retard-nerd Powerball. I think the man upstairs finally made it through his backlog of ridiculous requests for world peace and found my wishlist, and maybe conceded that I haven't been a complete douche with my life... I'll know this is the case if I...

Indeed. I lucked out with my blood family to also to qualify as chosen family. I would do anything for them.

Yes, you gotta love those days when the world recognizes your magnificence eh, especially when it come from a hottie (ie an unlikely source) :-)

Some advice, as the Dos Equis guy would say, "Stay thirsty, my friend."

I just finished moving my stuff from Fayetteville, NC to Athens, GA. I managed to keep damage to my furniture down to a small tear in my couch, which to me is more than acceptable attrition.

The only hiccup in the whole operation was cramming my German Shepherd into the small space between the seats in the moving truck for the five-and-a-half hour drive. Barely...

Very true, everyone is musically talented in NOLA. I wish I was, still trying to learn the guitar. Maybe in my old age. tongue Thanks for the love on my set!! kiss

Sounds like an interesting road trip you had. Yes, pets make the best company. I could just imagine the expression on your dog's face when that happened!! lol biggrinbiggrin Glad everything turned out ok! smile

Oh, I have a tendency to visit certain people, who are still quite alive and well, but should be ghosts of my past. I pay my respects, I curry favour, and am reminded that no matter how far I go, this is who we are. This is who I am. Particularly this last trip when I found the mail. All very true stories, present and past, and shall be interesting to see if there is a fight coming, or if it was something of not much consequence. *shrug*

Not many people on this site have a back ground history with me, and even the ones that do, do not stretch much over that period of time in my life.

What is your dogs name?

Unintentional sobriety. I haven't had a drink all week... and don't really care to. It isn't like I really meant to take it easy, either. I just forgot to drink. I quit smoking the same way. One day I just didn't feel like smoking anymore, so I didn't light up. I haven't had a smoke in four years.

I feel pretty damn good.

Sure sign...

Thank you sir! I'm glad you approve! biggrinbiggrin Kudos to you for quitting smoking. biggrin It's tough to do, but then again, I do things cold turkey as well. Now as for drinking, that isn't so bad, I only allow myself a few drinks on the weekend. Good luck! kiss

Double blog day.

I was at GNC getting some multi-vitamins and some Carnivor (an all beef protein isolate supplement shake shit, which does taste a little like cow sweat) and the girl at the counter tossed a sample of some thermogenic fat-burner in the bag. I tell myself that she is supposed to do that for everyone, and did not do it because Im starting...
