To be fifty seven and not know who to trust is a sad commentary on a life
fische:
I never trust people either if that makes you feel any better?

and hopefully, your loved ones;

but even those

We were all home, together last year, and the year before. Two years ago she broke her foot right before the Oireachtas; and last year didn't qualify (again because of injuries.) I'm really sort of surprised she qualified this year with all the injuries she's had.

& while I don't like to boast,
aye,
I'm pretty good at baking the turkey.
I'm even better at eating it smile
fische:
yes! I am very excited especially about having Christmas with my son in our own house smile
And thank you! I'm always getting told that I don't smile often enough.
Hope you're well?

Thank you so much for the well-wishes. I am actually very excited for the surgery

Amen & thank you. I'd have far preferred a manual, but the wife doesn't, and we were lucky to survive my prior attempts at teaching her.
Marital bliss and better fuel economy are fair trade-offs, or so I keep telling myself. (Plus the DSG is a pretty sweet transmission.)

i see you are a cat lover as well. smilesmilesmile
In the last 27 years my Husband and i have had a constant houseful of cats.
We average between 5 & 9 felines at a time, currently we have 7.
So, all those kitties brings the odd accidental pee.
Enter the UV light.
Since the police use it to look for body fluids and DNA evidence, i though it would be perfect.
And it works just marvelous.

Have a wonderfully furry day,
kitty
love kiss

I've always said I'm not going to be "that dad," and I'm pretty proud that we've raised a very self-assured and self-confident girl. She's not gonna do anything she doesn't want to do; and conversely, I'm wise enough to know that if she wants to do something, she's going to do it - - regardless of what Mom & Dad may think or want. As such, it's sort of silly to blame any boy she chooses to date. Still, I consider myself fortunate in that she had two rather clingy and annoying "text boyfriends" early, and they may have convinced her that dating isn't worth it, at least for now.

All I can ask at this point, is that she's smart
and that she's safe
and that she know she can come to her parents for help, if necessary.
fische:
aw, thank you. He is a gorgeous boy.
And thanks for the bum love! smile
