ohhh man I am super pissed off. This fucking bitch that I let stay with me for free for a few weeks just made a shitty move. Here's the story. So a lil while ago I let her stay with me if she helped me out and when she did NOTHING I told her to get out. she is 19 and used to always ask...

Hmm, trying being a b*tch. You might get called funny names but at least identity fraud wouldn't be on your "sh*t happens" resume. smile

Been down THIS road before...

Do the job, only if it equates to survival + being fucking worth it. Hundred ain't that much money, honey, especially if you drop 30 on a tank of gas, need to get food on the road, etc....

in a totally different light, if its work in a time when work is scarce, it could mean eating for the next couple weeks. I've seen 20 bucks (stretched the right way) do wonders in a period of 2 weeks. Be resourceful if this happens to be the case. But I'm positive your aware of such observations.
el_profesor:
Do it. And act like he paid you a grand as far as the quality of your work is concerned... but make sure he knows you're doing him a favor

If you do a fantastic job... and make sure he knows you're the one helping him out, you may get some refferals to clients who aren't cheapskates...

Make friends with models and make sure they get your contact info so they can refer you...

And go see your cousins...

And besides... $100 is better than 0 bucks...
A lot of people don't make half that money in 6 hours

If I had money, and actually believed that I would have some use for more shiet (already got enough possesions to fill a small village), I'd take a look. Instead, please feel free to insert semi-sexual, oh-so-clever comment here, in order to place me on the same scale as my equally socially inept SG brethren.

(absolutly no offense meant towards anyone who actually posted here... I was pointing at those OTHER guys... blush )

The photoset sounds fantastic!

How much?

What else is for sale? Evening date for dinner?

Rain, rain at night on the outside of my tent when I dream, rain that makes me dream of hail that is falling and not stopping, rain that comes into the windows of my house and what? soaks the oak floors, rain - delicious, maddening rain.

I know you are reading this poem
late, before leaving your office
of the one intense yellow lamp-spot and the darkening window
in the lassitude of a building faded to quiet
long after rush-hour. I know you are reading this poem
standing up in a bookstore far from the ocean
on a grey day of early spring, faint flakes driven
across the plains' enormous spaces around you.
I know you are reading this poem
in a room where too much has happened for you to bear
where the bedclothes lie in stagnant coils on the bed
and the open valise speaks of flight
but you cannot leave yet. I know you are reading this poem
as the underground train loses momentum and before running
up the stairs
toward a new kind of love
your life has never allowed.
I know you are reading this poem by the light
of the television screen where soundless images jerk and slide
while you wait for the newscast from the intifada.
I know you are reading this poem in a waiting-room
of eyes met and unmeeting, of identity with strangers.
I know you are reading this poem by fluorescent light
in the boredom and fatigue of the young who are counted out,
count themselves out, at too early an age. I know
you are reading this poem through your failing sight, the thick
lens enlarging these letters beyond all meaning yet you read on
because even the alphabet is precious.
I know you are reading this poem as you pace beside the stove
warming milk, a crying child on your shoulder, a book in your
hand
because life is short and you too are thirsty.
I know you are reading this poem which is not in your language
guessing at some words while others keep you reading
and I want to know which words they are.
I know you are reading this poem listening for something, torn
between bitterness and hope
turning back once again to the task you cannot refuse.
I know you are reading this poem because there is nothing else
left to read
there where you have landed, stripped as you are.
