I had been very sick with this stomach thing and finally went to the doctor yesterday. I ended up being there for 5 hours. I was pretty sick. Very dehydrated it took 4 trys to get an IV in me. But.... but.... I had to wear funny clothes!
That place was nothing. Now spending a few weeks with kids on Indian Reservations in Montana...or near the Arctic Circle with Inuit kids on the REAL frozen tundra (Nothing against Lambeu Field)...or doing a Black History Month show where I had to call Harriet Tubman a nigger and throw her off a train while in Camden, NJ (The second highest violent crime rate in the country)... Now that was interesting. Do I qualify with those on my resume?

Actually, we just performed there at the performing arts center (which was on the campus of the HS and REALLY nice) once during the day for grade schoolers and once at night for the public. So we didn't have any contact w/ students. Does that mean I'm not a strong, strong man? I can make up some stories about knife fights and gun battles with the locals if it'll help. I have scars.

Hapy new year to you too, Luv...glad you had a relaxing christmas. I lived in a towne of 3000 before, but they are spread out like farms. It was quiet that's for sure. I like the magic thumb your son got. I mean who doesn't need one! LOL

i would love to visit WI. i am a country girl at heart ... i m like a redneck incognito! i hear that its very beautiful there.
i used to live about 30 min from west virginia. you know that place has a bad rap. inbreds and bla bla bla but you know what? its one of the most beautiful places in the US. most people don't appreciate that...or don't take the time to notice, its sad.

According to one recent study or another, the cute response is similar to the euphoric high of opiates or love. Saw it on the Daily Show or the Colbert Report last night. Strange, isn't it?
