I am feeling better, after an injection and some strong medication. I didn't want anyone to think I was dead. Or a zombie. Since I revealed that I was ill, and then failed to update my journal until this evening.

Happy new year to everyone.

P.S. I wish I were a zombie, though. That would rock.

I haven't been online in a while.

I have a kidney infection, which is not as fun as it sounds.

And it doesn't exactly sound fun, does it?

I've spent the last week sleeping and watching t.v.

T.v. is for morons.

This is what I've learned.

I was just rocking out to Broken Wings by Mister Mister, when my brother walked into the room. (My brother never walks into my room.)

In a completely monotone voice, he said:

"I'm pretty sure it's not 1986 anymore."

Then he walked out.

The wind outside is relentless.

A bird's tiny body was blown into my bedroom window earlier with an unsettling thud. And the wind chime hanging on our porch, that I had never even noticed before, can be heard throughout the entire house.
