Tonight was interesting.
I came to a realisation about some things, and some people, and am a little more at ease on certain situations.

I went to the pub, and knew the bar maid was in that everyone keeps trying to set me up with.

Usually she doesnt talk to me that much, but today she spoke to me first, and then we spoke for...

Things seem to be a bit better.
I saw my ex today, and things were amicable, so that is good.
And I finally decided to get pain pills, and they are the best thing.
This is going to change my everyday life, I walked around today with next to no pain.
Hooray!

So the past few days have been up and down.
I didn't have a drink the day before yesterday, at all, which is new.
And when I got home I decided I was in an excellent mood, and I've been trying to patch things up with my ex.
So I sent an email to her, saying I'd been a cunt (which I hadn't really) and...

I dont even know how I feel anymore.
I have always felt, that in terms of any self medicated or self depricating ~disease, if you openly admit you have it, then you really dont, and youre just putting it on, because if you know you have it, then what is stopping you from trying to fix it.

But I feel like I am becoming an...

I know how you feel to a degree. I struggled through a lot of my life with ADHD. But it was never diagnosed as a kid. I figured it out over the years and have worked to overcome it. I finally went to clinical psychologist at the beginning of this year and was officially diagnosed. I don't want medication yet, because I don't want the personality changes that may come along with it, as well as the cost of having no medical insurance here in the US.

Many alcoholics are simply self-medicating for larger mental health issues like anxiety, depression, or bi-polar disorder (like my sister did for many years). If you feel the need to drink so much, then you may be battling a larger mental health issue. The stigma's that used that used to exist on people with mental health disorders have significantly declined as the medical science has become more and more concrete about their existence and the ability to overcome them with simple medication or through support groups.

I hope you find what you need to overcome your struggles.

(Drinking is not a problem itself, I love a good beer, and like to get drunk every now and then with my friends. But compulsively drinking or drinking on a regular basis to escape our pain is a sign that you may need help)

Today has been an awesome today.
I went to the Sunderland match with my dad, which is cool because we rarely hang out just me and him, and it's the first match I've been to since I was 10 or so.
We won 3-1, and I had predicted the first goal scorer, and won 50, which paid for the whole day, including a jumper I'd...

So I am considering going to the pub again tonight, but this will be the 5th day in a row I will have been at the pub day and night.

But it's something to do, and there is alcohol there so I'm not sure why I am even questioning this.
beezle:
you have stamina my friend! I can't drink very often. It just wears me out!

Good morning
I was so drunk last night.

I thought Id go out for one pint but I found 2 of my friends and we did rounds and I had about 6 or so pints.

On top of the 3 I had had earlier and wine

I dont feel TOO hungover. But I am a little delicate.

Back to the pub at 12 though so...
