@lostlucy thanks for the comment. That's something I've never thought of doing but may just do.

It's hard to do, more likely the sort of thing we do in our heads at 4am when we can;t sleep, but that's good to0. I should say, I am agnostic-athesistic but believe it is healing for the person writing it, and helps preserve the memories and the love.

So one week back in the UK and things are great. My wife and I have been very productive, we have secured a place that we move into next week Friday. She got a job in 4 days in St James Park, PA to the CEO of some financial institution. All we need now is our doggies back. :) that will only happen next week....

Today is my last day at work and tonight I fly off to London. Cant wait, been a long time coming.

No time to rest though, as I start work on Monday and also have to find a place to live other than the hotel I'm in.

Wish me luck!

I'm quite envious of your experience with all the travelling you've done. Even if it was job related.
grifterwc:
@lalou It has been fun .. :)  my new role in the UK will only be travel in the country.  No more international stuff unfortunately.

Happy birthday, dude! Birthdays by the beach are birthdays well-spent.
grifterwc:
@Lalou Thanks.. was a quiet one though.  Next year is the big 35, planning to go home for that.

Happy 4th of July SG community!

arroia:
Yeah, I wouldn't never even consider getting a horse of my own. I might get some proper riding lessons, though. I don't think I've been interested in any kind of a sport for years, so we'll see.
grifterwc:
@arroia Sounds like my life.. I don't do sport at all.  Just haven't found the right activity.

Finally I get around to blogging again… I keep hinting on an update and never get around to it.

Not sure if you all remember me kind of celebrating a while back in my blog, well looks like things are finally moving forward. A company in the UK approached me again to work for them based on a successful job interview I had with their...

Ah, good. IELTS is a pain in the ass, so I was about to offer help in case you need to write it. I still hold IELTS prep workshops at the school where I used to work, so it's kind of my specialty. Glad you don't have to deal with it.
grifterwc:
@arroia That would have been great and good to know!  When I inquired they wanted to also charge me some unbelievable fees for books and manuals.   I was like 'hey' I speak and read english fine thank you.  However the Pearson test did show I cant spell .. hahahaha.. got 20 out of a potential 60.  still a pass though.  :)  Â
