One of my influences when I used to play thrash metal drums in my late 80's teen years. He's pretty much the primary influence to what would become thrash metal, hardcore punk...

FROM LAST NIGHT'S SHOW: Slash feat. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS at The Hollywood Palladium! I don't know if they played this long at the previous tour dates, but last night SLASH & THE CONSPIRATORS band performed an epic LED ZEPPELIN-like near 3 hour set, with SLASH channeling JIMMY PAGE in his prime with many extended guitar solos, like the 20-30 minute

HAPPY HALLOWEEN SEASON - Tonight I see at the New Beverly Cinema - a Double Feature for filmmaker JEFF LIEBERMAN (Director of BLUE SUNSHINE)

The man-eating earthworm carnage of SQUIRM (1976) - one of the earliest creepy horror movies I had seen as a child late night on CREATURE FEATURES in the San Francisco Bay Area, followed by the slasher-in-the-woods flick JUST BEFORE DAWN (1981) starring the great

goatfish:
@midnightsun the show was a lot of fun even though Lemmy has not been in the best of health on this tour. He has had to cancel some performances after a couple of songs at shows after the one I went to. So I got lucky.

THe band opened the show with "A.I.R" (from 1985's "Spreading The Disease" album, which turns 30 this year)!!!

Anthrax played a lot from this album that night!

The crazy, enthusiastic crowd at the House of Blues was very reminiscent of this European show during the "Spreading The Disease" tour in 1986 (which is also the year I saw Anthrax for the very
