Spring has always been here in Southest Texas; it rarely got cold enough to wear a jacket. I miss the seasons in NC, as short as they were, especially winter! One huge difference is that even though it seemed to rain almost everyday in NC, Coastal plains in particular, the mud and flooding was never as bad as it is here in Texas after just one day of raining. I hate it so much! Glad you decided to start writing everyday; you write beauifully. I really love the last stanza.
Yes, I was an Army brat. I lived in Germany for 8 years. I claim Wilmington as my home, even though I was born in Fayetteville. I don't know if you've ever been to Fayetteville, and I hate to jump on the "Fayetteville sucks" bandwagon, but Fayetteville has never really felt like home to me. I hope you are enjoying the early spring! I really miss that state.
Oh, goodness I love that piece! Your work is so marvelous. SO marvelous. Writing every day is a habit I have tried to form, but thus far for naught. Eventually and all that.
It is warm lo these 2.5 hours down 85/40 as well! I hope it lasts. People are already getting their knickers in a twist about the supposed snow about to come. Bah. Be gone and stay gone, snow!
A voice husky with faith ... I will be ruminating on that for awhile.
Oh, and the Ryan Adams was from a she, but sadly there has been no slow dancing. I need more slow dancing i my life. I miss it.
All sounds sexy. And I like that- "brave engagement."
I'm actually lucky that I can work at night and "odd" hours for a living mostly. However, when I'm productive nocturnally, I find that I still need to function and correspond and have meetings and such with people during their "normal" hours, and that just turns into a full day workday. I'm still learning how to make it work.
No, I haven't contacted them yet (need to do that Monday). There's one in particular that seems perfect for me, but I won't be sure until I talk to them directly. Oh, the stomach is getting a bit better. It really comes down to not eating things that are difficult to digest (dairy or fatty foods are the worst).
English is a really good language for saying a lot with out saying anything worth while. I'm not sure why that is, but I'm going to blame it on the British. See my boyfriend is british and he is quite reserved and I'm not sure sometimes of how he really feels about something....My theory is this attitude is that this has evolved into using a lot of words covering up a simple fact. Kinda like lots of make up on an ugly chick. Wow, I'm such class
