I was in Philly. I didn't tell a lot of people I was home. My trip was rather busy so I didn't want to tell people I was around only to tell them I couldn't hang out. I only really went home to visit my grandma.
I missed you at camping. It wasn't quite the same without you.
I'm not any more north than you are
My grandma is a battleaxe I think she'll pull through this. I just wish it wasn't going to be so hard for her. As a kid she used to make me promise her that if she got old and senile that I would take her in and never send her to a nursing home.

Nice articles. I've seen 3 of those 4 films, and I admit to really enjoying "The Ten" and "Big Dreams Little Tokyo." "Red Road" didn't impress me. I was hoping for something else I guess.
If you haven't see it - check out "City in Heat" during the festival favorites. Similar plot to "The Big Chill" but much funnier and better music (in my opinion).
I got a gig today writing game reviews for a website Spewgilist. I answered an ad on craigslist and wrote up a review and got it posted in one day. Not too shabby. I'll get free games and passes to conventions.
yea i was worried that would happen...we were all on the porch watching it and the fire dept just said, "either go inside or come over here behind me" so they were even less concerned than us!
How was Otakon?
