I have a real internet connection. It is amazing. I called BT in a complete huff yesterday but I have to admit they have fixed things pretty speedily. Yay!

28 tomorrow and not having the internet can make me throw a tantrum like a 2 year old. I don't have to grow up at any point do I? There's not a rule or anything saying...

Happy Birthday again loverboy.
narshada:
Yay for the internets!
Hope you had an ace birthday and became extremely inibriated and fell over (but in a good way, onto something soft and thus avoiding injury.).

The internet is too slow. It is destroying me. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!

On a happier note I appear to have survived my rock and roll death year. I am 28 on Saturday. Not quite sure how that happened. Last time I checked I was 18. Hmmm.

If anyone fancies a few drinks on Friday night to celebrate with me I will be in the Shaftesbury Tavern from...

I have internet. More or less. It seems very slow, especially when both of us are using it. Still it is internet. Woo! biggrin

Life is drifting by right now. I really don't feel very active. Still I should probably find out when uni starts again. Maybe buy some food. Unimportant things like that. wink
mat8drb:
Buy some CHICKPEAS. You know you want to.

V. impressed at coherent drunken answer. Apparently it is a very devisive question among just war theorists. Tell me, does the answer get even better if you're sober? biggrin x

Life without the internet is hard. How are you supposed to start the day with a smile if you can't read all your regular webcomics? Back at the parents for the weekend so making use of the internet there.

Generally things are good though and we haven't had a single fight yet. In a whole week. Go us!

Things are really hard for Kaikai as...

i am back and free now if you are? though i can imagine moving-in stress is taking over your life right now.

when i lived in berlin i didn't bother getting a bank account and no one seemed to care. it's not like i had a job out there though so maybe that's why. is it difficult for non-brits to get uk bank accounts then??
secretary:
I'm not a preachy vegan. wink My other half said I should ask you if you think just war theory is the western equivilant of Jihad. Thinking caps on please. x

So I'm in. The move went ok but it looks a bit bare in here right now. I need to get some more furniture.

Kai's flight has been delayed so I am sitting around on my own until even later then I thought. frown

No internet yet and updating this on my phone is a pain so update over.

I second that.
Don't go to Ikea to get furniture - it's hell in there. Even though it's cheap. And fairly decent quality. And some of it doesn't look too bad I suppo... oh hell with it. Go.
mat8drb:
Still waiting?

Yesterday was fun. Enjoyed the charity football match and I think we managed to raise about 1800 for the RNLI which is pretty good for 2 back street boozers. Less then we raised for CLIC Sargent last year. Kids tug on the heartstrings a bit more I guess. Still a good result though.

Then I went to see a few folks from SGUK in town...

I should be doing sensible things like packing but quite frankly where is the fun in that?

This time next week we will be waking up for the second time in the new flat. biggrin

Right now though I am sitting around being as lazy as possible listening to lots of Regina Spektor and Martha Wainwright. It's more fun then working biggrin

This Saturday is both the...

Anchorman may be the funniest movie ever.

Yes, it is juvenile.

Thank you BBC 3.

I've had a good week skiving. I must get the flu more often. I still feel a little guilty though. I guess that's a good thing as it does prevent me from taking the piss in jobs I care about. I just wish my guilt complex didn't kick in for shit temporary jobs where I get fucked around. Back in tomorrow for one last week...

haha, i don't think any alcohol is a good idea at the moment. like i said, i'm not drinking till i feel a bit happier with my life (let's see how long i stick to that plan!)

god i bet you're happy to get out of your job. haha, here's you desperate to leave your job and me desperate to get one. never leave uni...ever!
fudgebudge:
god damn you and your (kind of) free money!

Is lying about having the flu really so bad? I really want to play football this week and missing out on it for a shitty summer call centre job doesn't seem like fun. I think I have my priorities in exactly the right order.

Also adventure update. Lyon is off. I have a better plan. Adventures are no fun on your own anyway. This will...
