It's Friday and I'm heading to Coachella. I'm looking forward to see my favorite band come-back show tonight, The Jesus & Mary Chain, which also features Scarlet Johanson as a back-up singer!! 
The Stooges rock. They rock harder than any ridiculous new punk band and they set the Wiltern on fire last night. Lots of people from LA's music scene were there, including Dickie Barret who, for a short time, was in a pogo, next to me.
Just finished wraping up my coverage of the COL COA French film festival in Hollywood, which was a lot fun but somewhat exhausting. I shouldn't complain though as I had lots of champagne and met several stars from French cinema.

Went to the Cabana club in Hollywood last night, right behind my favorite record store, Amoeba. The place was filled with the usual superficial actress/actor types but we had fun, despite the fact that the dj sucks. Only slept 4 hours and I'm already at my 4th espresso. Just got back from the French film festival announcement party, which was held at the house of the French consul in Beverly Hills. Had too much champagne, cigarettes and pastries -- they were so good. It's been years that I go to the consul's house and he still looks at me as if I was there to clean the swimming pool or steal the stereo...
