It has been a busy month of July so far. My Jeep was at the dealership for three weeks getting fixed. It turned out a needed a new engine. Since my Jeep is still under warranty I got blessed with a new one for free! No charge for any of it! Gracias por Dios!🙏 Since I got my wheels back I have been making up...

I just realized I haven't written anything on here in over a month. It has been relatively quiet overall. I have gone to my fair share of movie, but the big summer movies largely have been an abomination (Fast X, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Flash, and Transformers come to mind). The one movie I have seen lately that was actually good is Past Lives....

@jadestone It is different in college and the minors for sure! I got the rodent repellent device for my engine today; the mice can go back to their field!

Last week was a tame one overall. I went to see G-Eazy on Wednesday night after work. It was better then when I saw him last month as the production value of the stage show went up.

It is always weird walking around in Hollywood since it is such a spot for tourists. Hearing the conversations and things is always interesting.

I took a drive

It is that time again where I head to Lucha Vavoom in downtown LA! The show last night was fun and had more Mexican cultural references than I would have expected. I even got pictures with a couple of the wrestlers this time ! I must have been in high spirits!

Me taking pictures is never a great plan, but that is the way it

Wednesday night was a night for a bit of culture as I went to see Fatoumata Diawara. A singer originally from Mali, but now based in France. She always gives a good performance because she brings energy to the show. Her songs are about issues in her home country, and around the world. She uses positivity to remind us we are all part of one...

Yesterday was a full one, even for me. My day started out with going to the University of Southern California spring football game. The team should be decent next season, but still have my doubts.

After the game, I went over the California Science Center to check out the Maya exhibit. They had a lot of Mayan artificts that had never been outside of Mexico

After Bob Marley on Friday and a ride to Malibu in the afternoon, last night had me down in Carson for some boxing in the venue colloquially known as The Punch Bowl. The main event featured Sebastian Fundora, a junior middleweight contender who I have an affinity for because he has always been nice in our interactions.

It wasn't to be Sebastian's night as he

Yesterday I went to Hollywood and Highland to check out the Bob Marley One Love Experience. I didn't realize how much of his music would take me back to childhood. My father had Bob Marley in his regular rotation and there was always music playing in the house.

The trip worked out and I even took the back way, so I didn't catch all of

Last night, I saw G-Eazy perform at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. I guess he is back to more of his hip-hop roots. Seeing him in such a small and unique venue was fun. Not a bad way to spend $40 on a Wednesday.

Around the comic convention this past weekend, I also managed to go to a concert. I saw Rival Sons and Greta Van Fleet. Since the show was on the other side of Anaheim from the convention and starting an hour after the convention ended, it made it a no-brainer to go. I was there to see Rival Son, so I was a bit disappointed they...

This weekend was spent down in Anaheim at WonderCon. I hadn't been to it before. My friend was there with his comic book. This time I managed to help his sell a few copies! Although, I still have no clue about what most of the cosplayers are dressed up as. 🤷

Apparently, Funko Pops are a bigger deal than I thought they were.

Since it has been raining here, I have been keeping my adventures to a bit of a minimum. I did make a stop by the location of the first McDonald's. It is in San Bernardino, California. The location has been turned into a kitchy museum full of random McDonald's memorabilia. I didn't know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. It was free...
