A duck quacks. She hurmphs. She plops down and she draws up her legs. Her legs are up and she turns. She lays down on the bench. He reads and she lays down her legs on the bench. Her legs lay. She lays and her legs lay and her head lays in his lap. You are worse than my cat, he says. A pussy cats purrs. She purrs and says she's also a whole lot better. He's lifts his book but she rests her head and so he rests his book like she rests on her head. Better to read my book with you mean. A person hurmphs. Meanie. He moves his book now now she is shaded, don't have a cow. Do. Cows do moo. I do have a cow with you.

I realised only a couple of days ago that one of my gravest mistakes so far in life and relationships is trying to make things the way they once were. Not only is it unfair, but it's impossible. Things can never return to the way they were -- you have to let yourself be open to new things that are good in different ways.
