I'm so proud of my male and female friends and fellows in the LGBT community for the years of toil and hardship they have put into such a ground breaking SCOTUS decision. Anyone who thinks that the case that finally brought this to a head was a fluke needs to check their facts. Years and years went into what happened with that ruling and I'm thankful for that outcome. As was stated by a disparate and angry member of the SCOTUS body, the decision truly had more to do with popularity and popular vote than it did with the bare bones of the constitution. Then again, so have most decisions made by SCOTUS, so neener, neener!I'd like to take this moment though to point out a fact. Popular opinion made this SCOTUS vote, no one can argue that. After decades of pushing and prodding the people spoke and their will was understood so I have to wonder, why hasn't there been the same sort of demand for an end to sexual slavery?Even though the thirteenth amendment seems to cover the issue, someone (even when they do get charged which isn't often) charged with crimes that violate that amendment especially between a man and woman, isn't likely to serve much if any time. The penalty goes up if the person enslaved is a minor, (a nice way of saying, "Well, the whore isn't broken in yet so I guess we should impose a stiffer sentence.")Why aren't we as a people demanding more from our judicial system in regards to the loss of life and innocence involved in the sexual slave trade? Does this cause need a catch phrase or a symbol that can be adopted easily to a facebook profile? Not being facetious, just asking an honest question. What will it take to make a majority of us to take this problem seriously? If it comes down to "Not my children, not my problem" let me assure it is. One in three girls sold into sexual slavery in the United States are "girls from the right side of the tracks" which means "young white women." No worries about it just being a problem of immigrants and foreigners you narrow minded shits among us. Your daughter fits just fine in the equation, she can get hooked on drugs and turned out just as easily (studies prove even easier) than a girl that is "someone else's problem."Their lives are all short, cruel, and meaningless, and there is absolutely an answer to this problem and unlike many other issues laid open to our judicial system the answer really is simple. If a man meets the requirements for a life sentence in prison for selling too much weed or killing another man in a bar brawl, shouldn't a man meet his end in prison for selling just one woman, much less five or twenty? Shouldn't a pedophile meet the mandatory minimum of life in prison for molesting even one child much less dozens? The current answer to those questions is no. NO OF COURSE NOT! The criminal might, "might" get listed on the sex offender registry, and then after serving anywhere from six months to seven years in prison they are free to do it all over again. What color do I need to make my fb profile? What symbol can I fly high and proud to stop the trade of sexual slaves of all ages, and across all borders, much less our own? What needs to be done, who needs to die to make this change, I'll honestly line up if a martyr is required. No one should ever be made to have sex against their will for the gain or gratification of any other member of society.

"I guess what I'm saying, when it all comes down to it in our post-feminist dreamland, is I just want someone to sit on a railroad bridge with and drink beers."

"That sounds fair."

"And someone to throw those empty beer bottles at passersby with."

"A tad violent I guess but if that's your thing..."

"And then take home and treat like a...

It's time for my rare and elusive shameless hopeful plug. @Trayne

This woman encompasses so many of the qualities that used to be pure SG, less on how you look and just as much or more on who you are. A beauty and a survivor. Equal parts Valkyrie and hellcat and that's only half of it. I only hope its a matter of...

I'm selling everything and moving to Seattle. Unlike most of the passive aggressive morons I know, I really am just looking to make new friends and hang the fuck out. Hit me up in a few months when I get up there. Also, if you are in that area and know of any work I'm looking for leads. Many thanks.

Don't suppose anyone in the U.S. or Canada is sitting on a job opportunity for someone looking to relocate? Seriously, I've lived in one place for too damn long.

I've got some new folk around these days so just so's you know, I'm a fiction writer and author. You can find my work on Amazon, smashwords, createspace. I'm also always looking to network and pass along what I like on facebook. Just search for Uriah Wolf, you'll most likely find me and my author page there. Cheers.

Hey folks. So, things are pretty much wrapping up and drying out around here (southern California). I need a change and I need to get on my feet and start making money again while I continue to search for a literary agent. I'm open to anywhere and doing just about anything to make cash for living expenses, anyone have any ideas, space, job openings...
