Another cold windy, winter day here in Newfoundland. Probably about -8c or so and who knows with the wind. Walked to and from school and safe to say I was bunkered in my scarf. Damn all of you south and your nicer weather ;)

Been off since the start of exams last semester and Christmas break, but now I think i'll come back and update, and chat with some new people.

This week’s post isn’t about a survival kit or how to do something but instead a review of an amazing product I think would do well in anyone’s kit. This is the Luci light by Mpowerd. When it comes to survival kits in the wilderness , the best kit is the one that is on you. Many people construct survival kits that are left in their vehicles, skidoos, boats, ATV's or at home and when the situation calls for its use, it cant be found.

That's awesome, space efficient and covers most possible scenarios. I had a headlight that I used for work that had a red light as an option. I never used it, but could be good for a situation where you may not want to draw attention to yourself. Lost it a while back, though. I was thinking of blogging about survival gear and related products but I don't know which medium to present this information in so I'm...

Yeah, I tried to get involved, but I don't have a bug out bag at the moment.
eddy1771:
@kentbob not a big deal. Good to gather information. I lean towards real life scenarios rather then zombies etc haha

There is a lot of girls and boys here sharing their lifes, achievements and problems. Sometimes they only need someone to listen (read) and I like to be part of this community doing this.

Yea I can agree with that, I got a few donations when my dog was really sick to help out. Some good people on here
