How ironic. I don't even watch TV, and I'm going to be on it sometime this week.
So allow me to share with you some words. I'll be doing this frequently since becoming reacquainted with my Andy Warhol autobiography. He's an astute sonofabitch, that's for sure.

Well, hooray for getting an 85 on my second test ever (well, in beauty school, but you know...) That happened to be about bacteria and sanitation. So far, I've also been tipped on every single facial I've ever done on a client.
I think I like my soon to be newish occupation.
And this journal entry is dedicated to the...

Amazing.
My first stranger today at beauty school gave me a 35% tip and said, "Wow, you're really good." This was even after one of the other more advanced beauty students accidentally shocked her (post-extraction) with the high frequency machine.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that she was my first official stranger on the clinic floor/paid facial. She also asked my name...

On the drive to school today, I spied a peculiar personalized license plate.
It was on a Toyota Camry, or was it a Nissan Altima? After awhile, I see enough of those during my commutes that they all blend into one another.
But not this plate.
THQ?GOD (edited to add, the fucking question mark is supposed to be a heart, now where's that heart symbol...

I don't get the question mark, but I read it as, "Thank you, God".

I just deleted a rant here that would perhaps have some of you on my "friends" list remove me from said friends list.
So go ahead, imagine what it might have been, and delete me accordingly.

Ah, I wish I had your upright moral sense.
Unfortunately I don't delete my rants - it's much better for general stress relief!

So I passed my first test. My score wasn't what I had hoped, but considering that I didn't do the homework properly if at all, and that it was my very first one, the teacher said that I did "GREAT!"
Hooray. Now I need a Good Work sticker on my folder.

I'm not the biggest fan of Daylight Savings Time.
However, the show must go on. I'm proud of the productivity I've been achieving as of late. I also made it through without thinking about the significance of today, except when my best friend M. called me to tell me happy anniversary. It was a heartfelt gesture though, and reminded me of all that I've overcome...

Without getting to much into the insanity that is the hippiness and the visions and whatnot, it will only be 2-3 cities that are truly devastated by the whole pandemic thing. I haven't been able to determine specifics, but I'm guessing they'll be more centralized. Ironically, the breakdowns won't be the result of actual sickness, it will be due to fear. People afraid to send their kids to school. People afraid to go to work. Truck drivers afraid to drive their rigs and cargo into affected areas. Once fear grips a city, it's a matter of supplies running out.
Yeah, Seattle is nuts. on the flip side, they are planning to build and dedicate a temple to these people at Burning Man this year. Strange - in the two ears I've been I've seen temples and taken my own meanings out of it, I've never had a connection to the specific individual(s) for which it's dedicated. If I have the time and money to do so, I'll go out a week early and help assemble it.
Silly world that we live in... it's both entertaining and annoying all at once.

Saw V for Vendetta finally. Highly recommended and thought provoking indeed.
Then again, I'm always thinking.

I really liked V for Vendetta, but I have to admit I found it a little long. Then again I don't know what I would cut out or shorten.
