Hey everybody and their mother,

I'm collecting photos of people reading my book to post on my blog.

Dictionary Girl and Anarchie and Sadie have already done it. (Thanks, girls.)

If you have a book and feel like contributing to this important, important project email me at mail@frankportman.com.

Thank you babies and gentlemen.

You're welcome Doc'. It's pretty much safe to say I love King Dork, it's the book I wish I had as a frustrated teenager. As a piece of literature it's as (devil head) monumental as Great Expectations or Moby Dick, that is if either of those books contained blow jobs and bubblegum pop, they'd be a piece of work as (devil-head) prodigious as King Dork.
anarchie:
Oh hai, I'm commenting on your way old journal.

So it looks like I'm going to be spending the last couple of weeks of October in and around New York. I'll be doing a "reading" (with guitar) at the Kettle of Fish in Greenwich Village on 10/26, and solo-acoustic set at a Hallowe'en show in New Haven, CT on 10/29. Plus a show in SF when I get back, on November 9. Details are...

I was told by someone who sounded like she knew she was talking about that I should make at least one journal entry. I can't remember why, exactly.

I'm a newswire contributor, a sort of writer and a kind of musician.

My weblog is Dr. Frank's What's-it.

My band has quite a few records out and has been around for a while.

I've got...
