Next you have to start rephrasing things in a manner more appropriate to one so advanced in years. All I can recommend is referencing other resumes out there to make sure that yours is the best it can be.. I worked for an Employment Resource Center and you would be shocked on how much resumes matter

Depending on the type of car, you can get a window from a junkyard and put it in yourself. It's difficult, you have to be patient and figure out what's bolted to what, and if you have a foreign car you'll need metric sockets, but it's not rocket science. You'll save money on the repairs and (if you have insurance) you don't have to tell your insurance company, saving money on your rate. I've done this twice with my car.
