Recording music is so much fun. Even better when it turns out sounding good. I guess investment is the key.
Crackdown for 360.... awesome. All that needs to be said.
I think I am addicted.
I think I am addicted.
I will beat these old habits. I will not give in to the seductive nature of what I know. I will not find myself in a routine that will lead me downward and broken.
I heard the new single "survivalism" today on the radio. Beautiful. I can't wait until 4.17. About ready to get back at this whole music thing. The break provided by my missing synth has been wonderful, but i feel like I'm crawling around inside my own skin trying to get comfortable.
I'm coming to the realization that I am clinging to the past. I'm not sure if it's because I don't want to change (which I am pretty sure is untrue) or because I just have a hard time thinking something is through. I think it's hard not to fall into the routine of having something there, and when we realize that it's gone it's harder...

Ive been a bad internet boy. I don't pay near enough attention to my "blog". I really hate the fact that SG changed the journal to a blog. Journal felt real and worth updating. It felt like a little private place to write your thoughts down, that you knew was not private. Something about the word "blog" feels wrong to me. It makes me feel...

" I don't think you know what the word coward means," He said accusingly. His conversations usually didn't start this way, but most people are a little more respectful than his present company.
"What are you talking about?" The neutral response pairing exceptionally well with the blankly innocent look.
"Do I look like an idiot? You seriously expect to trash talk about me in the...

I'm tired. missmarie and I have moved into our new place. Well, I am done. She still has some stuff at the old place, luckily our old landlord was her dad so we don't have to get everything out in a hurry. New place is pretty nice. I can't complain too much about it rather, I won't complain about it at all. There's just...

"You broke the agreement a long time ago," he said, "and now there are no rules. The only reason I've been playing the game at all is because I was biding my time, and waiting for the penultimate moment to show you who you were playing with."
"You can't do that, it's not fair!"
"I can't play the game within the limits of the rules,...

coliwali:
Man, have you ever heard of a game called Nomic? The only rules the game has at the start is a procedure to make up more rules.
The Silence fell ominously over the warriors. Every man fell instantly neutral at the same moment, and laid down their arms. Soldiers looked at soldiers, and Generals at their men. Every one of them was filled with confusion, that was, at the same time: peace. Not the brand of peace that makes soldiers and warriors obsolete, but a deep, individual peace buried deep within the...

Another year is about to close.
Are you looking forward to 2007, or dreading it? Why?
I personally am looking forward to it. I try to look at every year as a chance to expand who I am, and to rethink what I stand for.

Thank you dude.
A little of both. Excited for what it holds and the ramifications they hold.
