I am sorry I didn't pay enough attention the first time around, you are NOT WORTHLESS even though I don't know you at all... the hell with what this father-in-law has to say. If it makes you feel you are worthless, that sucks because nobody is worthless. I wish you the best in dealing with this situation!

Not much help now, but an external USB HDD is a wonderful thing for backing up computers with. I use mine all the time. You can pick up a 300 GB disk drive for about $50 and the enclosure will run you another $20. It is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

My Goodness, that is horrible. Over the last 10 years, Hubby and I have had 2 computers die on us.

The first time we lost everything. The second time, Hubby was able to revive it.....partially, about 1/4 of the way. It was enough to save all of our pics and videos, although we lost a bunch of music. We actually had our professional wedding photos burned off on a separate DVD disk, so those weren't in danger. However, some of the stuff we took on our own, like photos from our wedding night, (nothing perverted though), would have been lost.

Since then, we bought a little flash drive, just an 8G one. It's enough to keep our most important stuff saved.

I am very sorry for all of your trouble sweetie. frown

Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye.

Wellllllll .. with Mars being about .5 Earths in diameter and the Moon being about .25 Earths in diameter, and the moon hanging around about 240,000 miles from Earth, it's safe to say that unless Mars comes a lot closer than 34,649,589 miles, it won't appear to be the same size as the Moon.

It'll be pretty bright though.
